Can anyone tell me why my K750i suddenly hangged after use it for 1 week, it hangged after I switch ON the phone. I cant go into the main screen. It just hangged there. Please advise. thks

I don’t have a k750i, I have a k700i but in 28 days I can upgrade to this phone. I have read lot's of reviews about it, lots of things that were at fault with the k700i (little things) have been discussed about and solved in this newer model. One thing that has not been discussed as far as I can see is the problem with the mp3 player.
I use my k700i for mp3's (a lot) and for me the best upgrade on the k750i is the memory stick to allow me to load all my mp3's on there. The problem I have is when the phone is in my pocket and the headphone cable comes loose, the phone then starts playing the music out of the loud speakers (which is annoying and somewhat embarrassing while on a train or in the gym). Does the k750i have the option to turn of or silent the loud speaker?

By the way, the upcoming E1120 (3 megapixels) is from Motorola NOT Sony Ericsson (I so forgot to mention, sorry).

Charles, I don't know how your settings were in Nokia since you don't provide enough information on that, but you can try this for a change: go to Contacts >> Options >> Advanced >> 'Sync. order' and select 'By last name' instead of 'By first name' - vice versa.
If any of you are into imaging more (which I believe you are lmfao), then check out the upcoming E1120 (3 Megapixels without a lens cover LOL).

Nokia 6270 is much bigger & heavier than this SE K750i. The standby & talk time of the K750i is more than double that of the 6270. What more? The 6270 is ugly looking!

You know, there is not one cell phone out there you could point out and say is 'flawless'. After a week, there will be some complains (a missing feature, not user-friendly, blah blah, etc).
My suggestion to those of you who are confused about k750i would be simply to not buy it if you have second doubts that is - don't regret just cause a day later you realize some Nokia/Siemens version doesn't freeze (with almost the same features as the k750i). There are always going to be cell updates, but does that mean you will wait for the final update? It will never end my friend (LOL). Never.
I love my k750i, and I don't regret a single bit even though my cell phone too freezes (as some of you complained), the photo saving capabilities are slow indeed (as I mentioned earlier), the speakerphone is not up to the standard as expected (someone mentioned here).
Nonetheless, you don't need the speakerphone for listening to Mp3s (LOL) all the time. This can damage it; hence, they provided you with an impressive stereo/handsfree headset (with extended features like an Equalizer - Normal, Bass, Mega Bass, Voice and Treble Boost).
Despite the slow photo saving capabilities, if you can once master the focusing technique, I don't think there would be any complains left. It comes with patience though: both from you and your object.
As far as freezing is concerned, you are talking about an internal 38 MB with an additional 64 MB Memory Stick. Someone do the calculation quick...and that's just the beginning (this k750i supports up to 4 GB).
Anyway, even my p4 2.8 processor, with 768 RAM, 80 Giga Hard Drive hangs over sometimes but will I throw it away? No. Here we are talking about a tiny device which is meant to support 2 megapixels (never been attempted before and after 1.3). If you think about it slow, that's a lot my friend for a little device like the k750i. Come on, give SE some credit to at least to be the first one.
The next time you buy a cell phone in the upcoming 3-5 years, SE will hopefully have a cell phone which supports maybe over 5 megapixels then, and does not indeed freeze. :) Until then, enjoy the k750i if you own it.
You know, ever since I got this k750i, I have been taking hundreds of pictures (some out of focus but the more I take, the better I get (in focus) and know how to handle it). Comes with practice really.

Hi guys
i just buy this phone the previous week & its perfect.everything is good.the camera is really 2 mega pixel.if u take a pic u can zoom on the pic till 32x & pics if transfer to pc have a acceptable resoulotion compare the nokia phones.if u have any question ask me.& by the way the phone ringing volume is very good & loud.nothing bad in this phone

the K750i is just beautiful!Black style... J like it. Yuo must know, this phone has 2 Megapiksels resolution photoaparat and autofocus!The yeang brother k750i wos god,this model i Very good. I've got news for you folks. The freeze problem is not just a simple firmware upgrade issue. Today I returned the phone to my service provider and the update process was done successfully but the phone still freezes!! So they said that it must be sent back to Sony to check it out. So i have to wait for another week without a phone...I advice you all to stay away from this phone untill Sony fix it on later batch...

im sorry, but i fail to see in the as in how the ALCATEL S-853 is better than the K750i. all features on the S-853 are on the K750 and the K750 has a 2 megapixel camera. Plus the S-853 only support miniSD card of up to 1GB, whereas in a K750, 2GB right now and 4GB in the near future. So wut if the S-853 has EDGE, the mjority of consumers never even use their GPRS for anything else but downloading ringtones and wallpapers. And the looks. K750 looks more elegant any way u compare it to the S-853. Oh so the S-853 has 2.1 Stereo Surround Sound speaks, r u gonna play the music on ur phone while walking down the street with ur friends breakdancing behind u? OLD SCHOOL!!

Is it possible to connect the phone to a car radio to listen to mp3? How can I do it? Is it possible to use the memory with other type of files like a pen disk or only mp3 files? Thanks
