Couldn't careless personaly. I love my K850, its such a unique design, great build quality, excellent camera that ive modded, great sound quality due to me modifying it with diff acoustics, awesome menu layout that ive modified, etc. . .ive modded my K850 so much so that i doubt there's any other K850 that has exactly the same software in its firmware, ive totaly made it My K850 to suit me and i love it like that, i cant say the same for my now unhackable N81 :( i love it to but its now unhackable and ordinary, ive just put it in its box and waiting til theres a new hack.

mehedi, 05 Jan 2009is maga bass a good software?dose it play a good role in music?mega bass is not a software its a equalizer preset for s.e. k series / w series / c series . it pumps up the bass volume through ur headset . if ur using a good set of headset its noticable when using the mega bass preset its giving more quality sounds than any other preset or custom made preset .
the s.e. k850i menus and the software used is very easy and fun to use . yes its fun and easy even faster than the s40 os . different people have different tastes so i prefer u first use a s40 os and hang around its menus then use the k850i menus and the media and hang around through those for a few min's u'll get something to ur mind . good luck .

After that, you will be able to view your inbox. If you want to save them into your comp, then right click the message you want to save and click save as. But after that how to restore it back to the phone I am really unable to help. Very sorry for my incompetence.

Dee, 05 Jan 2009Well, I mean the QVGA (320x240) used much more memory than ... morewell of course it would take longer to proccess a video which was 3x more quality. and of course the k850 has a very weak proccessor so it would take even longer!
tbh if you want a complete cameraphone then the cybershot range should be avoided as a rule since SE will never bother spending the money needed upgrading their hardware, thus rendering their phones incapable of recording anything above 320x240.

At esato.com ???no buddy one of my cuzins own one . i played with it for a few hours last week . not bad at all with the brand name s.e. and all . its doing fine at day times ( i said its doing fine in daylight ) at night times it takes a bit awful pics .

I've had the 850i for about 13 months now, and experienced a software malfunction 2 days ago...as I was retrieving an SMS message stored on the phone, it unexpectedly froze, then shut down and restarted automatically. Since then I haven’t been able to access my inbox, sent items or outbox, likewise i cannot send or receive SMS messages. I have tested the SIM in another handset and it works fine so there is no fault with the SIM card. My dilemma is that i fear the software has been corrupted, and that I will need to do a software upgrade/replacement, but i am wondering if this can be done without wiping the pre-existing SMS messages stored on the handset. I have heard that performing this upgrade will wipe all existing messages, essentially reformatting the phone- a situation i would prefer to avoid.
It seems the SMS messages are still on the phone, but i simply cannot retrieve them since the function to open the inbox does not work. When i select the inbox i get a handset message returned saying 'operation failed' and there is no count of messages that were previously sent to me giving the impression that there are NO messages. But when i check the memory status, it hasn’t changed to indicate the message have been wiped- so they are still in the memory somewhere.
I’m desperate, and will welcome anyone’s advice at this stage- Is there a way to salvage the SMS messages on the handset and do the software replacement/upgrade to permit the sending and receiving of SMS messages?

nick, 04 Jan 2009qvga doesnt use a lot of memory because the detail within t... moreWell, I mean the QVGA (320x240) used much more memory than the 176x144. Indeed the QVGA looks better though, but when I want to edit the video in the VideoDJ, it takes much longer time to load.
I once had K790 and I still remember that the loading time is faster. Of course, K790 can only produce the 176x144 video.
