i got my k850 last week and the camera is great and i love the zoom.the audio quality is also good and the interface is easily understandable.my only problem is the phones durability.

i find you the best to answer my questions, i wil... moreK850i has Good quality Camera, Battery life is 4-5(sometimes 6) if its just used as a Phone.. the Music quality is good to, User-Interface is very easy to use.

hate this phone, 15 Dec 2008i had this phone since january and everything was ok!! duri... more It seems you are right. The SE K850i picture quality is good but the parts reliability is questionable. I bought my SE K850i last January 2008 and sent to SE service center last July 2008 due to Keypad problem. After replacing the Keypad, I sent it again to same SE service center last October 20008 due to blacked screen. Until now, I'm still awaiting for the arrival of new LCD screen part from SE factory in order to resurrect my dead K850i inside the SE service Center.

I am not 100% happy with the picture quality. At this moment in time I get better quality photos with my 2mp W800. Have I possibly missed a setting or are this a downside of this model?

I highly reccomend it.

Dani, 22 Dec 2008You need to tell the truth, not just make stuff up lol ... moreI got this in march and after 3 repairs sold it after third repair,,i am now considering getting it again as carfone are doing it for £150 and its it green which i wanted originally not blue that was on offer..Has it really been changed in the upgrades to a more reliable product,,ive only 2 days to get it for the xmas snaps,,thanx

they are hardware problems and not fixable through firmware updates
i cant believe you are all denying it! just google "k850 touch buttons not working" and there are SO many articles on it.

nick, 20 Dec 2008join the club. worlds most unreliable phone.Funny thing is - I have NEVER had a single problem of any sort with this phone. I have had it since June. I guess the new firmwares must have improved it, because all I saw was complainings about this phone, yet I have never had a problem.

jodi, 22 Dec 2008i jus got this phone this morning and the only thing i dont... moreYOu need to hold the phone in a specific way as to not to obstruct the sensor. You should have received a paper sheet, with an example of how to properly hold the phone, with the box.

Blue ring of death is a thing of the past now, N95 had the same software problems......
Both phones have had MAJOR firmware updates since then....so there fine now.
Hardware, i wouldnt keep my bets on N95's slider (I dont like Sliders)
i dont even like Symbian lol
K850i is SOLID, Software is Perfect to.

Dani, 22 Dec 2008You know if you took the N95 apart ...the slider is soo che... moreto be honest with you, my n95 doesnt seem to have the slider problem that others complain about, well when i say mostly, it's just you dani.
my slider isnt the most secure but by no means a problem! in fact i only noticed the slight wobble when you pointed it out a while back.
in other news, the n95 is made of magnesium, not plastic and i think it is funny that after all the failing touch buttons, the loose battery/memory card catch at the bottom of the phone and the blue ring of death and stuff the k850 has, the best you can attack me with is "the slider is a bit loose" lol.

K850i is Totally 100% Reliable....its hardware is SOLID
I know becuase i own one!
