Dani, 12 Nov 2008Xperia X1 is the best offering.I think I might have to go for C905, the reviews are great. What do you think? I miss sony's phone operations, it's way better than nokia. And I like a good camera, that is why I gave up my k850 for N82. And that's all the N82 is, a good camera.

the w960 lacked a decent proccessor or any graphical acceleration, plus things like the camera or a standard jack.
just too many lil things. the phone itself though was the best effort SE had for a while

Im having strange problems with mine lately, It doesnt recieve anything - I missed like 6 text messages yesterday becuase K850 wasnt recieving them, i put my sim card into a different phone and it recieved them.
Its not the network - becuase when i put the sim into a different phone the messages came straight away

nick, 11 Nov 2008i think having the VGA option is nice tpsez. if you dont wa... moreYep i do agree, SE are far behind in their Cyber-Shots video recording, and its realy mind boggling considering they are partly owned by SONY who seem to be very successful in terms of video and general multimedia in their other devices. Im over the whole Mobile-Review thing. I find their reviews VERY informative, Eldar does a great job, and all the bad criticizime he's been giving SE is good, SE should be listening to Eldar in my opinion. If SE had put the right HW in the W960 it would have been a N95 beater no doubt, SE and Samsung have the tech to take down Nokia but Nokia are very clever, plus they have the tech, if you think of the 1st s60 Nokia (7650) you realise that Nokia already had thought of Multimedia Smartphones and that they are not just for business but the youth as well, no other manufacturer had that in mind back in 2002 except for Nokia, and now S60 is the #1 OS.

how do u set the phone for a clearer and brighter pic in a low-lit room? ive tried choosing the twilight portrait but still the pic appears dark.iv also tried to change the setting of the megapixel, auto focus,image quality,etc..but it didn't work..

i think having the VGA option is nice tpsez. if you dont want it, you can just turn it down. i actually remove the videos from my phone and watch them on my laptop so i think having VGA is relevant.
and yes i know the xperia does VGA @ 30fps and i think that phone is a great handset, however it is produced by HTC so i find it rather questionable.
& tpsez, you clearly know what you're talking about, but we can both fundimentally agree that sony ericsson have been poor regarding their video recording ability, especially more so considering they are apparently producing "camera phones".
