If you can take N82's picture quality and add it to K850i, you would have perfect phone.

Honestly, and I said it before SE phones are much more fun. Owning both N82 and K850i, I enjoy my K850i in every way except for the camera. The N82 is superior in pic quality but camera functions the K850i takes the cake.

The K850i is much more solid, has better camera functions, better sound quality for music and phone calls and loud speaker, better T9 dictionary for texting and it has emoticons and smiley faces, better voice dialing, etc.

I really like my N82 for pic quality, that is very important to me. I like the larger screen, the auto rotate is better, it has wifi and it is an ok smart phone.

If you don't care about camera pic quality and like great phone quality go with the K850i. Besides the camera is not that far behind.

              Thanx, eddie

                  Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Dear Baderx,
Well let me start by asking which phone do you like better?, or should I say have you tried a Nokia and a Sony? I have tried Nokia, Sony, Samsung and a Motorola. Out of the 4 I like Sony the best. If you like one phone over the other, then stick with the one you like best. Like you I have little money to put in a phone, seeing that I have a family, whom I love very much. That is why I am here to get people's opinion if the phone is worth the little money I have. Just don't rush it, research the phones on the internet, try to get in contact with people that HAVE the phone and see what they think of it. Get as many facts as you can about the phone, because if you ask me, I will tell you to get a Sony. But that is my opinion, get the facts. I would want you yo get something that you will be happy with, then to get something that I prefer. I know that this may not be much help, but maybe it will help to guide you to make a good choice for yourself.
                  :-)
                  -Take Care!

(^_^), 14 Aug 2008It amazes me how you guyz keep asking these questions about... moreSir Carloud has a good point, camera phones will not replace cameras....well maybe someday. But, for people like me it is is better to have a good camera phone. I have a cannon 3.2 megapixel camera, and a Sony camcorder and a Sony W810. Out of the 3 I have taken far more pics with my W810 then the other two put together. Reason for that is I have 3 sons, and it is a pain to carry a phone, and a camera or camcorder all the time, because I have my hands full with my sons. True, not the best pics in the world, but good enuff for my family album, and I think that is what counts.

That is good to hear. I have dropped my W810 down concrete steps, and it bounded 3 times before I stopped it. Also afew other times, in various places, have used it alot listening to music and taking pics. It has some make on it from the falls, but it still works like a charm. But I have been lucky I have not hit the screen, you are right about being careful about that. But when you have 3 boys around, it is hard not to drop things once in a while. You are the second person to tell me that it is built well. That makes me fell better about getting one. Thanks!

                                  dear sir (^_^),

hmm I dont mean to intrude...err but there are always better ones among the rest in everything

fact is: even though these are camera phones, there will always be a cameraphone which performs better than other camera phones

hence thats why we are debating about it.

If I am not mistaken, the debate we see here is about "which camera phone is better?" not "which cameraphone is better than an SLR?".

And lets face it, camera phones nowadays are adequate for regular consumers like the majority of us here.

ever since the 1.3megapixel cameraphones...or 2 megapixel cameraphones came into market...cameraphones are able to produce decent enough pics...

and now that cameraphones have autofocus, white balance, ISO settings and all that stuffs...pictures produced by these newer batch of phones are able to portrait what exactly we would want to see in a photo...clear, crisp and presentable enough

now we dont see cameraphones replacing high end cameras and being used to print pictures on front pages of magazines like FHM or playboy for example, But phones nowadays...Are able to deliver

                                  ^_^

It amazes me how you guyz keep asking these questions about which camera phone looks the best, the answer is NONE, All these cell phones use cheap lenses.. PERIOD ive got a nokia 1.3M, sony 1.2M and another sony 2M pixel phones and all outcomes are the same! Clear in the middle and blurry going out toward the edges. Nothing changes, i go to my sony digital camera and go to VGA mode and the picture is IMACULATE from the inside and out!! No blur's at all its all about the LENSE. And until these cell phone companies realize to put in better lenses, the pics will always come out half way descent. But then again its a cell phone camera.. How much quality do you really expect to get?? Try it for ur self, if u have a camera phone and digital camera, set them to the same resolution and snap the same picture and look at them on the computer closely...

                                      Direwolf,

i do think the phone is able to withstand a few falls..theonly thing that would worry me would be the screen itself taking a direct hit..im assuming ur thinking the worst and hitting concrete..the phone it self yes might take some wear and tear but it will work im sure..the screen is what i would worry about..but as for taking a hit on carpet or in an office in your car things of that nature would not affect it..again i havent dropped it but theres no creaking or and its a thick-feeling phone..much like a camera

has anyone had this problem.. in the middle of charging, the phone automatically turns off and on, non-stop?? Also when out of coverage it switches itself off?
