I would have to disagree about the battery life being better in the N82. I have both phones and K850i is alot better in battery life. I used my N82 yesterday a lot and the battery went down fast, but today it has a full charge so I will see.
Now the camera, yes. Better by far than the K850i.

If you want camera quality, definetly the N82. I have both the N82 and K850i. Side by side the N82 is better by far.
As for the touch screen buttons, I never had any problems. They take a little to get used to but they work well. As far a looks and some certain functionality, the K850i edges the N82 out but not dramatically. Sound quality on K850i is awesome but N82 compares very well.

Anonymous, 20 Jul 2008i prefer n82 than k850 bcoz 1.baterry life - u know n82 h... morek850i is much cheaper when bundled with a contract then n82. my mobile provider offers around 100 dollars for the k850i, and 450 for n82. big difference. but to me, a simple 0 dollar phone with contract is gd enough. i would get a proper digital camera, probably 10MP, if i need one. has higher ISO then any camera phone. but i think C905 is amazing, 8.1 MP in a phone!

get the n82, it has a better camera and a better video camera and a brighter xenon flash and it uses the same excellent camera unit as the n95!!!
and and the n82 is a better mp3 player because it gives you a 3.5mm jack and it has some super dooper sound chip in it and everybody knows SE give mediocre sound quality.
the only advantage to the k850 are its looks!

can any one say me as im bit stuck in k850i and n82
wat u guys prefer as for me camera and mp3 is the important factor needed.
wat do u say for n82 headphone sound.Can it be compared to k850i
as u knw sony rocks in sound...
but the negative thing about k850i is its screen touch gives problem in future and its higly expensive to repair.
please gimme some suggestions.

n82 brigther image compared to k850
and shorter focus time,saving pics are faster in n82
and 1 more
is wifi,u know that if u own a phone with wifi function.. it will be easier for u to suft web,rite?
k850 are nt so bad in my opinion

I just received my N82 black. I have to say, I am very impressed. Picture quality is much better than my K850i. There are things I like about my K850i over my N82. But overall the N82 is much better. I am very satisfied about my decision to buy the N82, no regrets.

nick, 18 Jul 2008really, i can use up to 32gbi work for a mobile phone network and can confirm as yet no handset can use 36gb memory card attempting to use in any handset on the market at the moment will damage your handset
