me and allan both have n95's yeah and i think ours probably do run at similar speeds. we run the same firmware and i have a 2gb card in mine, thinking of expanding to 8gb if i can, but the expense is annnoying.
im still worried that when i get my upgrade in january, there is not going to be anything to upgrade to!!

If it isn't a problem to you, I don't mind as well.
I just want to point out to allan that you "had" slow start-ups.
Even if both of you have N95, it doesn't mean that both phones show both performances.
Every phone has its own ups and downs.
Atleast now allan knows, and he'll be silenced for quiet sometime.

i dont have any problems with startup. it just goes slowly, probably because i have 20+ applications installed. they say they slow down startup.
thats all. its not a problem.
this phone still thrases the k850 and crashes less

it doesnt have the "set as" option when i go to the media, and the ringtone section doesnt allow me to import or edit =/
i got my phone from phonesourceusa but i have no idea if its the cheaper model or not...

Coz normally you can set an Mp3 as ringtone, but ofcourse it will only play 10 seconds of your selected tone.
Some subscriptions does not allow some functions, in exchange to getting cheaper retails of the unit they sell.

I just got my K850i a few days ago, and so far i love this phone! the camera is awesome and the xenon flash really comes in handy...
however, i cant seem to use mp3's as a ringtone, like i did with my old phone, samsung U700.
is there any way to do this?? any help would be appreciated =D

We are both running on ver. 21.
Whats this 6 minute nonsense you were talking about.
Even when i first bought my phone it was probably 1 minute then, not six!
Ver.20 and 21 makes it actually quicker then the n95 8gb. I've seen the video before comparing the 2 in start up.

start up = 30 seconds

Sniper. I just turned my n95 off and then back on.
It was just under 30 seconds! This is with ver.21 ! My full screen was back on!

they arent lying. i just dont like the way everyone uses natural rendering for washed out photos.
also dani the original n95 has the same camera as the n82 one, except without xenon flash so it is just as good. the camera unit is the same!
