Why does everyone care about what camera is better N95 or k850? If photography is so important why don't you go buy a proper camera, 8mp ones are only like $300AUD. People talk about the lens size, and "noise" so they sound intellectual, but wouldn't an intellectual person who is so obsessed with a good camera OWN a proper camera and a photo-editing program like Photoshop?

There is no such thing as the perfect phone. Every phone is designed for different audiences, everyone has their own opinion and if we all agreed on the same thing what would there be to argue about? it's like ya'll comparing the N95 and this phone, they are so different! Just because they both have a 5mp camera doesn't mean they are rivals. They are completely different ya'll should really stop comparing them

I have had this fone for 6 months the most & its not great as it seems,my touch screen as frozen up possible software problems so be careful when buying this fone apart from that no complaints.

if the n95 was the PERFECT phone, then why doesnt everyone own one???
there are so many phones out there to use/explore/enjoy and its not just ALL about 'nokia' or the 'n95'. think about it!

Ooooooer, let's get all narked up about phones!
Oh my GAH! SE is like waaaaaay better than Nokia, like totally.
This phone is so much cooler than N95 even though it has no GPS, but who cares.
Lets come on here and post if we own a N95 to prove we are so much leeter.
Let's bash Nokia "fanboys" cos SE is soooooo much cooler. And it's all about the essence of coolness, right?

Just to clarify something, i said ngage gaming is great graphics and sound wise. But the controls are really awkward. They give u 2 gaming buttons (even on n95 the music keys) but use so many more buttons for the game that u cant reach because your phone is already opened to the media side so all other buttons are hidden. This is why i prefer my simple se games and when i want serious mobile gaming ill go to the dedicated gaming buttons and awesome 4.5 inch screen of a PSP (also great for video viewing).
I love sony and sony ericsson products they simply are like.no.other.

Ur right Dani. What i meant was that N95 pics look better on a pc screen when theyre sized down. Once you zoom in or try to edit a pic u see the difference. So much for proffesional photography.
Other than that the music player in it is downright shoddy. Interface is very poor.
But the ngage gaming is simply out of this world and so is the video recording and playing. It comes down to personal preference.

K850i still takes Better Pictures despite the Lense being smaller.
just like Japanese Technology they make things Small yet full of Quality. W880i has a 2MP Camera with the tinest Lense i have ever seen. yet its Quality Amazed me.
K850i is the same. the size of the Lense doesnt matter its the Quality that Matters SE has it.......

To nick, true n95 has a larger lens and sensor but it also processes the images to smooth out the edges thats why there is less noise. Also it processes the colours to an almost unnatural level to make them look more lively. The result is better day pics but when the light goes down and the cam uses higher ISO, pics are too noisy to make out whats in them.

it totally depends on what you want in a phone.
i had the K850 and i loved it, i now own a P1 and i love it even more. if you want a phone with an excellent cam, media player and motion sensor go for K850. if you want a phone with symbian OS, great large screen touch screen, expandable with programs, qwerty keyboard, office applications, wifi and an excellent browser go for P1. they cost almost the same in most places.
by the way, i modded my P1 and put the W960 walkman player in it. its great!

okay the lens and sensor on the n95 is bigger than the one on the k850.
today we had a class photograph and i gave someone my n95 to someone to take a photo on and it came out really well. my mate josh gave them his k850 and he got some blurred crappy image!
also the video quality on the n95 beats the crap outta the video on the k850!
the camera on the k850 is not not not not better than the one on the n95, its worse. the photos are colourless, generally blurry for some reason and the video is so pixilated.
