I know my ph. is genuine cause i bought it from SE showroom(authorized distributors) & got a 1yr replacement warrenty with it!

Had this phone for 3 months and I love it, but I have two problems with it and I wondered if anyone could just tell me if they had anyother problems like this, and if I should take it back.
Problem Number 1: The phone said it didn't have a SIM card in it. Restarted the phone, and it worked OK, but it's happened a few times now
Problem Number 2: When I tried to watch a previously recorded video, it became very pixelated, and green squares came up on the screen. Then I took a video, and tried to play it, where I got a Green and Blue screen. Then the display went blank for a few seconds, and I tried to turn it on. On the third try it turned on, and it came up with my home screen, where it searched ( and this time it found the) SIM card.
I just don't if I should send it back. It's covered by a manafactuers warenty, and I haven't done anything to it, I just wonder if it has anyingto do with the OS, and if new firmware can be installed to stop this.
Otherwise I really love this phone. It looks nicer than the N95, it takes better pictures ( in my Opinion ), and it has a great screen. I especially love the touch buttons, and I think it is well worth it's price tag. I have owned a N95, and I liked it, but not as much. Some people have been saying the paint on the blue one is very bad, but it's been good on mine.

Sorry bro, my mistake i acchewly meant UK when i wrote that.......
as sniper supra it depends on the country and dealer
here in the UK it comes with a 512MB card but some places it comes with a 2GB

u hav mentioned sumwher dat k850i comes wit a 512 card in !nD!@.
well, dats not entirely true.
if u buy d fone wit a bill, u get a 2gb micro sd card.
if u buy d fone w/o d bill (grey market), u get a 512 M2 card.

d blue one is not as good as u think.
i've also seen my friend's blue 1.
it looks really bad!
d silver on d side seems like grey.
n d colour wears off afr a few mnths, like mdz said.
trust me on dis 1, go 4 green 1!

Quicksilver black(but cant get it unless ur on O2 as far as i know), then green one and lastly the blue(reminds me of my k750,its paint did wear off after 2 yrs of use)

hi guys, just want to let you know that the latest firmware is R1EA037.
Now, no more lag from the phone, browsing media files is much faster.
Also, the battery life seems to be fine compare than before which is drain very quick.
I love it, GO SE!!!

Hey, hey, hey, you fighters. I must say that i had all of this fones, N95, N82, K850. And one thing is sure and even proved in many tests. K850 makes best pictures, Nokia makes best video. K850 is a cam-fone and the nokias are real business and multimedia fones. So, they are more complete (see GPs and Wlan). Its a question what u need and what u like. Personally i dont like Symbian S60 fones, but the N82 was a fantastic fone like N95. K850 is also a wonderful fone and i like the Java software, but it lacks of WiFi. Gps i dont care, but Wifi i am raly missing.

i tried 2 connect via blutooth 2 a friend's n95 2 send a pic of hers dat i had taken(wich was obviously betr dan d pic taken 4m n95).
she wanted d pic so badly dat i later put my 2gb micro sd in ma friend's n95, n it froze!
she had 2 restart d f**kin fone.
den, wen i browsed thru d gallery, it was d slowest gallery ever!
even slower dan n91!!!!!!

k850i has 2-3 days batry life (heavy usage)
k850i has auto-rotate
k850i has a call record option in built, dun hav 2 install a 3rd party app like n95.
k850i stores messages received 4m blutooth automatically accordin 2 d category.
k850i 3 LED lights for VDO recording
k850i has auto lens cover
k850i has a brighter n clearer display dan n95(dun gimme d 16m sh*t!)
n finally, K850i IS D BEST!!!

Hi guys have been reading some of your comments with regards this handset and its actually scary that its not only in SA where ppl are NOKIA brainwashed its a GLOBAL crisis i really feel sorry for you nokia guys dont get me wrong they make some good phones very far and few between but come on chaps give cr where its dew SE have always been leaders for imaging from the k700,s700,k800 days all tops in the class.
IN a nut shell the K850 is a monster phone with excellent features and brilliant pict quality.
And no none of the N range can come close!

I have the phone the only thing that is giving me second thoughts is that the software is not up to standard now i don't know if it is the service providers software (vodacom / vodalive) thats causing the problem or the actual SE software, if any one can help me with this i would really be thankful!!!
