as far as I can remember, its not "sony suite" but "update service" - the program you use to install new firmware. You can download it via sony ericsson website.

Nope. R1EA037 is the latest firmware. ^_^ just downloaded. ^_^ APAC-ANZ

u have the most recent software version (R1CA037) in ur set. I've also the same. at this moment SE didn't release ny updates after this.

Hi Eden,
Try by updating through phone directly.
1.Goto settings in menu and choose update service.
2. In the list select search for update which will update the firmware directly with some cost that applicable to your local service providers.
3. I too got the firmware of R1CA037 and when i try to update it says that my phone got latest software.I think the update might differ from region to region and I am from India.

hello everyone
i need help from u guys.
i facing a problem that i dunno how to update my k850i.i follow every step of instrution what the program told me to do(sony suite)
now my mobile version is (R1CA037)
so what the latest version to update?and anyone face the same problem like me?

Regarding the some of touchscreen complaints of k850 just gently touch the white mark(at the end of screen)then you can see the touchkeys working like a charm. I hope that some of the complaints which made on touchkeys might be the reason that people touching the screen alone and completely missing the white mark unknowingly which will not respond.Only the white mark will sense your finger.

I have seen some of the post regarding the camera performance of k850.To use the K850 camera efficiently look after the kit comes with the phone which specifies how to hold the phone since the sensor was located at the bottom of xenon flash people use to cover the sensor with their fingers unknowingly which will result in dark pics.So just hold the phone firmly without covering up the sensor will produce awesome pics!!!

I got the firmware version(R1CA037). I purchased the phone on february of this year.When i try to update it says that it was the latest software.How about yours?

whenever a new product launch from SE it bocomes a headache for the nokia fans! they cannot sleep well don't know why! but 1 thing, u guys (nokia fan) makes SE soo popular that u don't even know. keep it up. really SE rocks! :)

a Miracle Happend to my Phone a W850i .which i said is broken earlier.
ITS WORKING AGAIN!
these were the problems:
My W850i has DIED! totally....it Hanged about 3 times..Stopped reading the Memory card..Rings numbers by itself! .slider = loose .D-Pad = Badly Cracked.
Well The W850i still works PERFECTLY these Problems!
