i got diz phone last october and its really awesome...its not bulky and the quality of the camera is above standard UNLIKE n95....i dnt hav problems wid diz phone....the keypad is great and the battery is SUPER LONG LASTING unlike n95(so boring)
i recomend diz phone!!!

The current firmware for K850 is(R1CA037)..and I have confirmed it with the sony ericsson customer care here in India through mail....and they were not sure about the exact date for the next firmware release...but it was right around the corner!!!!!!

in d strt, i did xperience probs,but, all were coz of my ignorance.
nothin was wrong wit d fone!!!

I have seen post regarding the keyboard problem...My K850i works perfect and no problem with the keypad so far....

My advice to all k850i fans. don't buy this phone. the keypad has a faulty problem. Search " k850i keypad problem " you'll see. i wanted to repair it but thought of spending 30$ every six months for the keypad alone. SE is loosing it. these problem should not be encountered by users. the D-Pads should be tested to stand that much press. never droped the phone, always had it in a pouch. Clearly it is a manufacturing problem. CAUTION!!! TO FANS WHO WANT TO BUY.

T1E7. Another reported user having problem's with the k850. Keypad sinking, phone automatically shuts down on it's own.

i had it for about 2 months already. i must say that it is a problem phone.
It will automatic shut down on its own
Its keypads then to sink down making it hard for me to press.

Yeah i know, but they cost a Bomb to buy.
and the WALKMAN Earphones are just as good and they come with SE Phones wohoooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!

yet you moan at nokias for being buggy...
yet after all the firmware updates they turn out to be brilliant kits.
and dani how can u just assume sony erricson walkman headphones are the best since you've just confessed yourself that you dont own any other pairs. the psp headphone jack is 3.5mm wide mate. i do have 3 psps in my house (brother and sister).
oh the ds also seems to have a 3.5mm jack
oh looks like my laptop does too!

um...oh look, my stereo in my room, oh wait that has a walkman headphone slot. NO it doesnt, it has a 3,5mm jack.
eugh why bother fighting against the 3.5mm jack when having it is obviously an advantage. se headphones are not the best in the world, and i bet my headphones are better!
such crappy music phones ffs! at least the nokia range have normal jacks

all you SE fans were wanting a Software Change for SE e.g Updated Menu icons and so on and now SE have changed it you all say its full of Bugs well obviously it will be full of BUGS theyv just changed everything in the Menu ! when you change something, something always goes wrong,

well Well All,
today I decided to say goodbye to my k850i for good.just have to say K850 is crap i have it for 2 months and now is BROD(blue ring of death)that means the phone is dead.........SE users will now wot i talking about...unstable..full of bugs... flash was out of sync - ended up turning the flash off to get a picture..The phone shouldnt be turning itself off..and many many other things...Thank you, Sony Ericsson for such a 'wonderful' expensive phone

PSP comes with a 3.5mm jack adaptor !
i use it all the time......and sorry to say but for the sacrifice of a 3.5mm built in.
i would rather have a SE phone with a Adaptor .
and i dont have any earphones of my own, since i dont have a iPod or anything
thats all becuase i have a W850i ! which does it all for Music ! and it has the Best Quality.

really, well through my normal sienheisser in ear headphones, the quality through the n95 is absolutely faultless. Its replaced my zen because the battery lasts for music and its quick and easy.
i just cant be doing with adapters. i had to use an adapter with my old LG and it pi$$ed me off so much
