When you hold the n95 and k850 side by side you realise the n95 is no bigger than the k850, but the n95 does so much more! Goodbye to Jeff healey, a blind virtuoso guitarist , he will be missed!

When I bought my K850i, I was not sure if it was the best option between it ant the Nokia N95 (GB). After a couple of months I realized that the pictures are just perfect!!! I compare mine with and friend´s Nokia N95 and there is no comparison between the pictures.... I just love my K850i

For All Users, FYI
There are bugs with K850i now
but the SonyEricsson Team are working with it
The photos quality produced by K850i are less satisfy compare to K810i now because the develope team of SE haven't comes up with the best Cam driver yet, however
the Newest Firmware of Phone (software that ccontrol the handphone hardware) R1EA031 have been released. Lots of bugs are fixed, however, there still can be improvements! Don't be disappointed, I also Like this Phone!
You might update the firmware through the SEUS (SonyEricsson Update service at your local region SE website)
For example:
I'm located in Malaysia, I will go to Malaysia SE website to update my firmware.
Notes:
If you are Original phone, you can kindly go any authorised Sony Service Center to ask for assistance from them. :D Cheer~

i agree with you...with all the stuff N95 has crammed into the size that it is..its not that bad in terms of Size with all the features in side it!

yeah but the n95 isnt big either. look at it does and then look at its size.
why dont you buy a seperate camera, gps, internet tablet, basic phone, mp3 player, camcorder, essentially a mini psp and then call the n95 big.
oh yeah and the k850 doesnt do anything the k800 cant do

Now that I think about it, what they did with this phone is amazing. SE managed to make this phone smaller than it's predeccesor, but also managed to make the phone much more advanced than it;s predeccesor, too. Kudos' to SE.

Hi ev1 I Think SE K600 is one of the best pn by SE.bluetooth 2.0,3G,1.3mp camera but no card slot.I urge SE to redesign the model by providing card slot.

you have to download some programs in your PC first before you can change the media background
- tugzip file compressor
- photo editor
- xml editor
so here's how
1) open a theme (.thm file)via tugzip. For a sample theme, choose Clarity.
2) extract xml file imbedded with the thm file.
3) Open and edit (or create) these sections in the xml file
Media_landscape_background_image
Media_portrait_background_image
click on those tab and a source file will appear. On the right corner, enter the filename of the image (image size 240x320 for portrait, 320x240 for landscape)
e.g. portrait.jpg, landscape.png
4)save the xml file.
5)using tugzip, extract the contents of the theme into a new folder.
6)move the new xml file into that new folder to replace the old one.
7)rearchive the contents of that new folder into a .TAR file.
8) rename the file extension from .TAR to .THM then download to phone.

Later I will search the net for a step-by-step clear explanation of how to do it (w/ pics as much as possible).

hi, i like this phone alot but i heard some bad comments about it. my friend say that is phone lag very badly. is it true?

Yes i am talking about the k850i.
I have the blue version.
This phone is really thick, i don't think its sexy at all.
I love the software better than the nokia software now so will stick to sony ericsson.
I want a phone that is easy to text as this is what i do mainly so thats why i have gone for the k770i, its slimmer, the buttons are better for me for texting so i know i will be happier with this model.
