why would you get a cheaper cam phone with inferior video quality? it turns out to be more expensive isnt it ? lolz

Hey guys, i have the K850 (blue) and im in MENA. Still dont have the Update (R1DA038) and stuck on the 037 software. Does anyone have the new update? does it improve on phone speed and camera performance?
also i heard theres a cool 3d effect when ur browsing pics in the media player!

its a tough choice between K850 and W960, i had the same dilehma but decided on the K850 for the following reasons:
1- W960 is Symbian, K850 is JAVA which is quicker and more responsive.
2- The camera (OBVIOUSLY). The K850 cam is truely amazing (if you know how to use it) it not just 1.8 megapixel more than W960 it a whole different league.
3- The Media PLayer 3.0 in K850 does not lag behind the walkman 3.0 player, only lacks the "sense me" option. Its really a wonderful music player with amazing sound quality, gonnna get stero bluetooth headphones for it.
4- The material on K850 (blue, the green one is butt ugly) is far better than the W960, K850 is more glass and W960 is shiny plastic (both fingerprint prone but glass just looks cooler and classier).
5- The presenter prog in K850 is not available for symbian phones i use it alot to control my pc wirelessly (watch movies from a distance and control media player or control powerpoint while doing a presentation)
6- HSDPA much bette and more conveniant than WiFi.
7- I hate being limited to 8GB (W960) i have a 4GB card now but 16GB cards are coming out soon! K850 supports up to 32GB (maybe next year)
8- K850 is MUCH cheaper!

no you cant i guess SE made this choice to save on battery life (also with the light sensor) but you can always see the clock and missed calls and messages if you press one of the volume keys when the screen is black. The time and all that will appear for a short time then disappear with a little backlighting so you can even see them at night
this also works if your phone is locked

DON'T go 4 a Nokia.
Wats d use of all d features wen d battery dusn even last for a day?
i was usin a nokia 3250 n i was transfering sum songs frm ma fren's fone yesterday mornin, i had 2 charge d battery in d nite! i hav even used a fren's n95 n its a brick! as sumbody rightly said, symbian is too boring!
n i hav thought many times bout gettin a n82 instead of dis 1, but, i hav got a very few free wi-fi access points and also, i wud prefer accessing internet on my laptop rather than access it on a 2.2 or 2.4 screen.
Anybody goin 4 d Iron Maiden concert? r they touring in ur country?

Hey u into music phone den get W960, W910i, W950i etc. they will be far better than N95. I use to have n95 n wen listenng to music for 2 - 3 hours battery is all gone nearly.
GEt Sony Walkman phones battery will last u 2 days guranteed! i had n95 n den i got k850i n den sold my n95 n got P1i n P1i is awesome also P1i uses an audio chip :)
BTW MEGABASS ROCKS! nokia dont have BASS! except for N91

dani dnt buy the w960 for music.
what does it do music-wise that the n95's dont do?
the n95 actually does more. if you properly cared about ur music priorites then getting the n95 and buying some top quality headphones would be ur best bet.
no stupid adapters!!

im not Biast, i would go for Nokia but they all have drawbacks which i aint happy with
N95 8GB - No Lense Cover(i need it its 5MP!)
N95 - Battery life(maybe) slow RAM
N82 - the keypad(i can get used to it)
K850i - ??? has everything im asking for.
this is why im getting K850i....or W960i(For Music)

I cant believe it!!n82 is cheaper dan k850 in my country(where more dan 80% of mobile users use nokia fon).SE's gone mad(not gonna help em at all.)

having all this walkman jazz doesnt make SE phones better than the N series phones by any means.
i think the Nseries phones are better music players anyway! At least you can use your own headphones and you get the internet radio, 2 things the SE's cant help you with
