had to send this phone back as coundnt recieve calls or make them, no internet conection and i know it wasnt the signal where i am cause my old SE worked great. think the softwear was really faulty. but great cam when the pics didnt turn out black!!!!

The n82 is a better choice than the k850. True.
Also the w960 is the best phone on the market. Better than the N95 8gb OR the N82.

Don't fight friends. Let's back to reality. People who don't like and don't need symbian like me, just take SE K850.
People who like and need symbian just take the Nokia N series or SE P or W series which have symbian.
If you find your new K850 has some troubles than upgrade your software.
And remember that's always some bad products in every handphone production.

For the camera N82 are better. Until now no cameraphone can really beat the N82 camera quality even though K850. But i'm still waitin for SE K900i that produce 7.2 Mpix with carl zeiss lens and also 3x optical zoom, wifi enabled, and of course the video recording were improve its VGA res with speed 112fps. K900 will launch in the middle of this year, maybe.

to be able to change the wallpaper of your media player you have to open your theme file with a TUGzip application on your pc.
There you will see an XML file.
Edit the XML file using an editor then put the values Media_portrait_background_image or Media_landscape_background_image and the source is the name of your 240x320 or 320x240 wallpaper. Then repack the whole file with your wallpaper and name it as untitled.tar for example. Then change the tar extension to thm so that the phone would recognize it.
to SE haters, we know our phone well and we study it. Unlike you that just turned d*mb because your smartphone does everything for you.
Who needs a smart phone if you are already smart? ^_^ stupid persons do need Nokia.

even if your beloved N95 cut its price by a half I'd still take the K850.
Even if I'm offered a free N95 just to throw my K850 against a wall, yes I'd pick the N95

look it aint going to work..N95 is a slow Brick with crap software..which nobody likes!!!!!

I have the latest N95 8GB and N82. I also have the K850. I sold both my n series phones because i got fed up of the os crashing all the time due to messaging issues. When is nokia gonna come up with a reliable os?? The A200 is not as powerful but it is very steady and stable. Periodic sw updates further enhances it.
Conclusion,
Symbian OS = Windows = Unreliable
A100/A200/UIQ = MAC OS X = Robust & Superior
so dont think a person like you..is going to change people minds...becuase they all Symbian is load of B*lls

Nobody blame k850i is the best five megapiexel phone ever tell me which phone have a proccessor like k850i im talking about the CYBER-SHOT feature no one matches k850i in camera its (LIKE.NO.OTHER)

N95 is overrated, overweight and over priced,
ppl who prefer sound quality and everyday usability would prefer K850 over the N95 heavy brick anyway.
IMO the real opponent of K850 is the Samsung G800 and IMO again, it is better overall than K850,
more elegance, good dimensions, less pricy the best calibrated 5mp cam so far etc etc
As still as K850 doesnt take advantage of its GPS skills and 32GB cards, G800 is the wisest choice...

I cant understand the hate on this phone, it has much less bugs than other phones and packs much more features than 98% of the phones in the market now...
NICK!!! K700 had no:
-3G
-motion sensor
-HSDPA
-CARD SLOT
-Track ID
-support for GPS
-Neon
Not to mention some numbers, like 5mps, QVGA display, 32 GB support, 30FPS video with better resolution and LED, top notch quality sound 72 channels and many more db etc etc
Truth is that after T68i, the whole mobile community failed to present smth really innovative again...
It had color display, cam, WAP, MMS,T9, GPRS, Bluetooth, Organiser, Voice dialing/answering+memo, USB connection.
By your logic, who really needs anything more? All it has changed was the numbers and some other useless functions...
