i feel so disappointed knowing ive been rattling with some of the staunchest k850i/SE loyalists here and he doesn't even got his own k850i, that is, if i read it correct mringak.
frustrating!
next time anybody here goes blubbering about how great this unit is, better make sure u have one, read: you own one, ayttt???
those wanting to buy this unit, please, go ahead, let us know your opinions and experiences after. we'd love to hear from those who actually OWN the unit, at least anything they share will be least affected by prejudice or bias, not like some who ...ouuuhh man. ..really disgusting!!!
whether you'd own/buy this unit tomorrow or next week or next month, it doesn't take away the idea that you've been drumming nothing but stuffs you've read on papers, and not actually things you've experienced straight from owning the actual unit.

Hi... i'm a big fan of SE...when the N95 comes i really dont like it at all...and a few months later K850 came out... when i saw K850 i really love this phone and i wants to buy this phone...I go the SE's shop and ask for k850...when im holding this phone im really confused and when im press the buttons im confused twice and really dont like the face of phone but the phone is not bad...and my cousen have N95...i use his phone one call and the is really gr8t and now im buy a n95 and im really happy but the one thing is pushing me is the battery life...its really short and i dont ike it but promise me the N95 is the high technolagy phone...

i've got no problem with mine
as with my previous SE phones.
no amount of negative comments will disprove my satisfaction since i switched to SE phones.

Yeah but people need to Realise SE is trying their best in making Phones and they do it Well !!
the K850i simply Demolishes N95 in most areas not just Camera but in Music Media Gaming etc !
remember its a SONY one of the worlds best companies in Electronics !
so they always are the BEST !

i dont know which 1 is better, p1i or k850i.. but i know nokia's phone is like rubbish with high technology enhanced phone with low quality material and low durablity.. and i hate nokia's battery life time..so short.. i guess its the low material production...
and why bother with 256k or 16m colours?
do u see 16m colours or 256k colours with your eye or u see a colour screen only?
SE phone is stable enough and high in quality...as i know..

hmm so at least we now have an understanding that n82 and k850 is very different from each other
and there's no denying that n82 may have taken down k850 once and for all
but for people who are fund of A200 operating system of Sony ericsson and for fans of sony ericsson, k850 is the next big thing
we cant deny that the power of smartphones is well...really really beyond the league of multimedia phones but just think about it...of all multimedia phones k850 is the closest thing to being ..well..."symbian like" compared to other fones hehehe
and there's no denying that a200 is more like a series 40 nokia but is a bit more flexible in terms of useablity
the only thing that S.E. would be able to compete with the top tier nokia fones is it's price...if it could lower down the price....considerably, it would rock hehehe^_^

SE have to come back with better all-in-one cell phone, better video recording, bigger screen...the list is long! I will not change my good K800 for the crappy K850 at $500US.

so where are you now? if i were you wait until rated 2 of k850 becomes 1 and rated 2
of nokia become 1 thats it wait again until
they add dvb=h tv tuner ethier of them

have been using this phone since Nov 06, there is no problem whatsover for now.
I feel that all this problems stated in the post is either not true or you just bought an unauthorised set. Go for peace of mind, get an authorised set and so far no problems at all...

my apologiez to the few good men who knows how to properly communicate with good reasoning. if you'd go by my first post here...i honestly opened up my opinion about k850i, coz i got one and was so frustrated about the unit not meeting my expectation. i was drooled over by SE's great ads but failed to deliver, and failed poorly i should add. but what did the peeps around here do? they repeatedly bashed my thoughts with irresponsible statements and called me names, and even labeled me a nokia fanatic...i aint no nokia fanatic, it just so happened that as per my experiences with the units i got, nokia was able to set the benchmark on almost all of the functionalities camphones now offer, again my opnion.
i didn't got much respect, so i paid none to nobody as well.
if u'll run through some of the posts made by SE loyalists, you'd know what i mean.
i'm a big fan of technology. if it so happened that GE,Dodge,Honda, or even johnson&Johnson came up with an excellent mobile cum digitalcam, then you'd most likely see me posting my stuff in their forum. it ain't about the brand, hell, it never was. it was the technology behind the phone.
i understand ur point r0ck, and honestly, that's somethin' im throwin my respect over.
no more bigotry then..but be warned rest o' u, next post i see with even a tiny tad of rudeness, im gonna get the junk and the skunk flyin all over this page!

Better camera? go to gsmarena, phonearena or mobile-review or read all the user reviews. all of them say k850 camera is crap.
