all that u said is absoloutely right for nokia fan boys.... but i would like to tell you that the '5' button in the k850 doesnt work as a center key... the center touch button works as center key.....
ive recently bought this fone and the user interface of camera is outstanding.... not like the nokia with a side bar.... and the video quality cant match n95 but yet its taken a big jump and improved alot from previous SE fones....
hey any1 help me... my K850 has a problem reading the memory card sometimes!!! can any1 explain why??? thanx!!!

Bad video recording.
bad still camera.
Still pictures are full of grains when u will use indoor.

TOKEN, yes youre right, some of the memory goes to the data...but not much, you will not notice this at all! i havent used half of my memory card yet, and ive have 200 songs and 600 pictures in there:) The internal memory on the phone does wariate from wich kind of phone you buy, do you buy a locked phone on a operater there data will take just a little more room on the memory card...when a totally open phone of the same brand will not take up this memory. dont know if i sad this right, im from norway you know..LOL. my english is not that good.

Well i am a dedicated sony fan and i just bought the K850i!!!! after reading so many negative comments about the phone, i was really scared to buy it. However, i couldnt resist so i bought it anyway and im happy i did.
some people say that the buttons are crap - but all buttons are crap until you get used to them. Its been 2 days and i've mastered the unique buttons.
and another complaint was that the phone gets dirty because of the touch screen feature. this is true but unless you are a complete clean freak then who cares about a couple of finger prints... and the touch screen feature is GREAT!
therefore, the k850i is a great Sony invention. they have kept the same sony framework, but have added unique features, and changed the menu settings so that we dont get bored of the same phones.
good work sony and BUY THIS PHONE!

May sound dumb, but make sure its a verified website. Also be sure to check package contents. Alot of dealers switching out the factory mem cards for lower capacity ones to advertise lower prices.

Plz get a life. You all seem very insecure, going into other SE forums in attempt to trash SE products. Making up stories about owning the phone. I just read 1st 2 pages of nokia n95 8gb opinions not a single SE person in there trashing it with falsified statements. SE ppl have confidence in their products.

the "5" button doubles as a "select" button as well when in menu options, which you can get to with the d-pad. Seeing that you "own" the phone dunno why you wouldn't know this.

Every point you've attempted to make has been smashed. The n95 has better vid recording quality. Thats it. If you are so sure that the n95 is the best phone ever why are you here. The phone should speak for itself.

You can't compare this to N95. A big downfall of this phone is that it doesn't have WIFI. WTF :(

this is my 3rd k850i.
ist kept freezing.
2nd, operation failed, kept appearing on screen.
3rd time lucky ! wait n see!
overall great phone. but slightly too heavy.

You are crazy! You are blind enough not to see that this K850 is not as good as expected! I don't care if you are a SE fan, or Nokia Fan, i just like good quality product, but for this phone...I bought the K850 2 weeks ago to re-sell it on eBay because it was not better than my K800. The picture quality was worst than my K800. The K850 is the joke of 2007!

Plastic is the best thing to make a Phone from - it saves battery life and is Durable and doesnt get scratched !
no matter how bad this phone is ........ITS STILL THE BEST OF 2007 !

k850 is a failure
it suppose to record video in a vga resolution
n whats more,the digital tv feature seems to be gone(correct me if im wrong)
5mp but u only get 2mp quality (unlike a real cybershot)
btw,in malaysia the price is rm1680
