I'm just saying for the high price that you pay for the K850, nothing is included. And i don't want to have to buy 3 extra devices.

its a phone for christ sake!! who cares if it hasnt got gps or wifi! if you want to wifi the internet get a computer, if you want gps buy a satnav, if its got a rubbish mp3 sound quality then buy an ipod or similar, all you people expect everything to be in a mobile phone and then expect nothing to go wrong or it be at lightening speed and to have a battery life of a week but you cant expect that if its got gps, 5mp camera, mp3 player,this that and the other! this isnt intended to sound harsh at all its just reliszation its a phone, designed to talk and text oh and maybe show off a little down pub but you cant expect little things to have everything innit, more things its got the more that can go wrong

its a dawn cool fone with the motion sensers on it 5.0 megapixel camera cool clarity and looks good in black en green colour

how did u know it wud come out in Cebu this december? if its price is at PHP 30,000 then more or less it's like buying an iphone... but i hope the k850i wud be lesser than 23k. i also like the N95 which is priced at 25k now but im not sure which is the most practical choice.

Why are people only comparing this to the N95? I'm not here to bash SE as I already have a W580i and a w880, but I'm not going to shell out $600U.S for this phone when I know I could get a N95-3 or the HTC TYTN II for a little more. I was so tempted to get this phone until I looked at other phones. I'm sure this is a lovely phone but it better have a reduction in price.

k850 will arrive in cebu phils. in mid december and its cost about 30tousand

-Normal pic quality
-Bad QVGA video recording
-Thick
-Small screen
-No GPS
-No WIFI
-Good Music player
-Not enough memory included. Have to buy memory card separately.
-High price
-Uggly keyboard
Wait for the new SE K860 or waste your money to sell it back on eBay!

Congratulations Ned. For any software, themes and support please visit Sony Ericsson Fun and Download centre. However there are numerous websites like lasyk.net etc. Many websites. Please Give proper care to your product and read the manual first otherwise like some of the over confident members here you may also face problems.

i am going with k800 now as its cheaper and in offers the same as this fone in photo aspects vid recording 3g etc 5mp is no better in camfones ,,save your cash

i agree totaly with the unamed person who wrote this:
How can one say the camera is ok if clearly it isn't ? I doubt the one/ones saying that, have ever hold, let alone owned, a k850i. Either way, if SE is to be believed, they will fix it in November, with a firmware update.
Please people, don't post crap in here. Some first time buyers may belive you and be very disappointed after the purchase. They will turn away from SE and will have exactly the opposite effect of what you intend

Karan.. if you want a phone like that, Ive heard a chinese company have made such a phone which works with 2 sim cards at the same time. I am not sure about the brand but the handset is available in India.

I desperately seek a MOBILE phone capable of RUNNING 2 GSM CARDS SIMLTANEOUSLY. I dont want a phone which needs to be restarted or one card off and one on.. I NEED BOTH TO be on at the same time~~~

Got the phone yesterday (cheers Shane) upgrade from K800i. Took all of about 2 minutes to get use the keys and slight function difference's. I think the phone is excellent the touch screen for a few functions is a nice touch shame it could not be the whole menue page though. Used the camera NO problems what so ever great pictures. Phone seems heavier that K800i but no real issue would rather have the weight than a feather weight that you would notice if it fell out your pocket. No complaints from me long live SE.

Is there any 3rd party software maybe in java format can enhance the security? like providing kepyad lock with password and sms with password too?
