2--> SonyEricsson shop will give u updates YES; applications NO. u'll have to downlaod google maps etc yourself
3-->hmm... i haven't taken any special care of my phone. just need to carry a soft cloth to keeps wiping my fingerpints off its backside :D

Vajdu, 24 Jun 2009You can't use 8gb card , 4gb max ...It DOES work with 8GB microSDHC/M2 cards, i had a 8GB microSDHC in mine and it worked perfectly. Worked better then the previous 4GB M2 i had in it before.

I am planning on buying this phone, so i have a few questions.
1 which memory card do you get the best performance from and can you use a 8g card.
2 can i take it to a Sony Erickson store and do all the upgrades and add applications eg. Google maps or do i have to do it online. if so where
3 what do i need to know in order to protect and use the phone properly.

Dani your K800 is R8BF003 right? What is the date of the firmware. Take a look a phone setting then update service then software version.
