    Aparadektos,

    Thank you for replying to my question. I'm definitly going to buy this cell phone, since I know that it has an amazing Media Player and a super amazing camera. I hope that it comes out next week !

    BTW, is there any machine that could test how loud the cell phones' speakers are ?

    Thank you.

        O2 does not have the rights to it as cpw will be selling it on o2 as well as orange. I have looked through the system and it says that cpw will sell the phone on o2 for £30 quid on a £25 p/m tarrif. If you trade in any old phone u will get £20,

        That means that you could get the phone for a tenner on £25 tarrif. 200min 200 text. WHOW!

          O2 UK says they are expecting the phone on 10th October, while Orange expects it to be 14th October. T-mobile are expecting end of October while Vodafone doesn't have any idea and think O2 may have exclusive rights

            Cell phone lover:
            NO!! Channels only show the quality of sound,
            speakers mostly,
            there are no official measurements of the mobiles loudnesses, u have to test them yr self,
            usually the phones with stereo loud speakers have the most potential due to the double speakers, SE is the traditional winner in sound quality and can only be challenged by the iphone.
            The safest bet, would be to taste the phones yr self.
            I have tried the N95 speakers and sound quality is ok, one of the best and it can easily match SE's walkman phones.
            K850 will have better player, headset and speaker sound quality, BUT we cant tell from now if it will have louder speakers...

              Since we have so many previews, we have now a better idea of the K850 and it is now safe enough to make a small N95 debate.
              -Battery: winner K850 by a mile, hands down
              -Dimensions,weight: winner K850
              -5MPxel cam: K850 has xeon, N95 has sharper pix due to better video resolution of N95 it has to b the winner but we have to see how much of the 30FPS really make it to VGA, not a real difference though since both devices have the same display resolution. winner N95
              -Display, N95 will have bigger display due to dimensions and also the fact, it is a slider, BUT it will have the same resolution as K850=> less crisp and dimension/pixel ratio,
              the 16mil colors dont offer any more either,just drain more battery, N95's screen isnt as bright as other Nokias or SE,
              IMO this is smth personal too,
              some ppl like 17'' laptops cause of display size, some ppl prefer the most portable 15'' notebooks, yr choice=>draw
              -GPS: K850 will cost 3-400 euros less and the GPS accessories will cost 120 euros, K850 GPS will have surf star III chip >>better accuracy than N95's embedded GPS module=> draw atm
              -extra features(OS,TV out,WIFI,Motion sensor,fast HSDPA,etc) most of the extra features can be purhanced as accessories, N95 ought to have more because of bigger dimensions and price, K850 has less but u can select what and if u want more and buy it if u wish, u dont have to pay many useless features u will never use from the start, =>its personal,depends on someones needs = draw
              -looks-> personal opinions = draw
              -quality-> both phones are made of the highest quality, N95 has reported many soft problems, but its normal due to the many features and OS, K850 seems to have the edge on structural resistance(slider), better plastic and lens cover = draw
              -Memory, we cant tell atm, both phones seems to support the new 16GB SD cards, we know for sure that K850 will support the 8GB Mem stix,
              we will have to wait for the prices, 8GB N95 seems impressive now, but if 16GB stix will become available in lower prices then the devices price (8GB N95 price - K850+GPS accessory price) then SE will be wiser choice.
              For now the 512MB stick, K850 offers in the bundle is the best value for money...
              In the near future 8GB N95 will be the best choice and at the long run 16GB stix and more will b the ideal solution.
              Due to the flexibility of card choices, expanded memory and an average stick in the lowest price K850 has to be the winner.

              Conclusion N95-1, 8GB N95-2 points, K850i-3 =>Winner = K850i

                I checked lots of other cell phones from different brands ( Sony Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung ).

                And so far, the K850i and W910i are the only cell phones that have 72 channels. Could this possibly mean that they're the loudest, and clearest in terms of music ?

                Do channels mean how clear and loud the volume is through the headphones or speakers ?

                Thank you.

                  to the person moaning about the sony memory slot and the hiogh sony prices. , the k850i can take both the m2 card and the micro sd card so research the handset first before moaning.

                      @kDnq

                      come on man, i didnt mean to offend you but dont ever think what u reply for my opinion is right.

                      of course 3g is enhance then WIFI, some how WIFI is more convenient to used in small office to transfer small amount of data.

                      The most ridiculous about your judge is the GPS. What u mean map in everywhere. do u think all country have the kiosk map like displaying in shopping mall in every places? And obviously the person following GPS hitting tree where you are describing your self.

                      GPS is useful to me. before i need reach a certain destination, i can do path analysis through GPS to clarify for alternative road way that is suitable for my choices. If you not satify with GPS function, u can go for google map as well, where the function K850 not enclose as well.

                      i respect you man, i know u r die hard fans of SE. But the fact is you hidden all k850 drawbacks and display all n95 disadvantage....

                      the person i respect the most is impartial user, where they arent going to prejudiced others brand just because they supporting one side.

                        I had my hopes up for the K850 but....

                        No inbuilt GPS?
                        Still on ancient QVGA screen?
                        Only 264k colours not 16million colours?
                        And of course the Sony memory slot only for overpriced Sony compatible memory which is extortionate compared to micro/miniSD.

                        The only positive thing about the K850 is the great 5MP.

                        Will wait for the next upgrade cause i still love SE.

                          Anyway K850 has more fun in gaming than N95with it's accelerometer enabled in java games.

                          sorry to say but i really don't like N95, not because i'm an SE fan, it only doesn't interest me. because i love touchscreen smartphones and i'm not interested with their S60 GUI.

                              The N95's GPS capabilities are nothing special. I don't think that you'll see much of a difference between screens, and you can't call the screen on the N95, high res...

                                Design wise, I'd choose SE over Nokia, but specification wise Nokia is the winner, with more and more of their phone is equipped with high res screen, and GPS capabilities.

                                  UD}w (Arec);

                                  5Megapix Camera.. thats it.
                                  N95 is a smartphone and k850 is a phone.
                                  Some likes a simple basic to operate phones,
                                  some needs a more complicated one for their complicated works/needs. "
                                  HEY, you're right about the thing where you can't compare the N95 and SE K850. But you're wrong when you're talking about business phones. They're actually simple. Look at the blackberry. Perfect example. It has internet, text messaging, OS messaging and rtf readers for documents. That's it, and that's the way it has been for the past 20 years since the cell phone has been integrated into business life.
                                  If people wanted a business phone, they'd stay away from the N95 like children and garlic/onions. It's too bulky, no need for a VERY VERY VERY slow and UNRELIABLE Symbian OS, and no need for a camera that once again, TAKES A MINUTE to startup AND HALF A MINUTE to TAKE A PICTURE. No need as well if the battery will die within a day. Now I'm not picking on the N95 for the battery, but the SE K850 will probably live 4 times over the time N95 does, but multimedia phones like the N95 and K850 will both lose out to business geared phones in battery life, most of the times.

                                  mXM4 (sugar)-
                                  If you read my opinions properly, you'd know that I'm anything BUT patronizing the N95.
                                  That last opinion was just asking why Sophie didn't like the K850 and she likes the N95, and also rated the K850 with the lowest vote for functions. The K850 has the same amount of functions, perhaps for some people, within each phone, a different worth to them, even if the function of the phone (GPS, TV-OUT, WIFI) is the very lowest quality of what the function is suppose to be. So if she likes the N95, why didn't she ATLEAST give 5 to functions? It seems like she lowly rated this phone because it's SE, the K850 and it's the 'direct' competition to the N95. Indeed, more people will go for the K850, rather then the N95, because of SE's reliability, and usability.
