    To AK47:

    Just so you know, there are 25.4mm in 1 inch, so;

    2.2 x 25.4 = 55.88 (mm)

To conclude; the K850i screen is approx. 56mm diagonally across.

    :-)

And by the way. The keypad is so gathered to each other!!! The arrow keys as I can see are positioned with the numbers. It would be better if they put the arrows on top and make the numbers a bit smaller because they are too big. And the blue buttons are not well positioned. 2 in each side are much better or 2 in each side of the screen!! Buttons are scattered alot!! If this mobile is gonna be more expensive than the Nokia N95 - this is not worth it!!

n95 is not big.its looks like big bcoz of d screen size.its 2.6".and dis is not heavy.its only 120 g.k850 is 118 g.wats ur purpose to buy expensive fon?it is d batery?fon dat very expensive is not bcoz of d batery.its becoz of d features.wat do you choose?very expensive fon dat has batery long lyf and not comfortable features,or very expensive fon for 1day batery only but all features has?oh common!my n95 is only 1day batery lyf but dats ok for me.

                    Pv9c-
Looks like Nokia is STILL using their cheap plastic on their high quality phones ever since, well the beginning.

We'll believe it when we see/hear it from him. That and he has a prototype anyway. Nothing before it is released by SE is the final product. Right now, I could careless for the W850/W580, since they're nearly the same and I preferred the W850 back a year or two ago. Back then as well, there were still people dreaming of the N95, lol. Only meant SE was one of the highest companies out there, because there are so many more people in general with W800s, W810s and W850s then a regular candybar Nokia.
Back then as well, when people asked what phone you had, and it was a Nokia, they'd be like 'Oh' but with an SE, they'd be all like, 'OH LET ME SEE!'. Even nowadays, there are more Blackberry, Motorola, Samsung and SE users then Nokia. That, or it's like people don't bother to pull out their insolent Nokia as I see it.

Also, the only phones Nokia has going for them is the N81 & N95, 8600 & 7900, 6555 & 6500s/c and the 5610 & 5310. What happened to selection? Are people suppose to use one of two? That makes it boring. SE gives out the W610, W580, W880, W910, W960, K850, Z760, P1 & S500.
From what I see, Nokia makes all the phones seem boring. Looking from model to model, their gimmick, as in being a slider, flip or candybar is the only thing that saves them of complete similarity. The SE phones compared to each other, all look different. Try it out, look at those phones mentioned on each phone company's page. Many will see a difference, but some will not. It's completely also up to who you are.

You want to watch movies? Get a PSP, or the new 8GB Sony Walkman player. Oh wait, that screen's the same size, and quality. No need, this K850 will do the job. (btw, you'd want to give up some screen quality [tried and tested] and definite sound quality for a bigger screen? You must be sharing your TV with your parents, huh?)
Plus, the icons are the same, because they're riding on the older UI's interface because it was a hit, and still is. That and there's the PSP/PS3 like interface in the landscape orientation.

Actually, I think that's just how it's been the whole time... (being that SonyEricsson was fourth on the side menu since, well forever)

                              PEHV-
Then this phone isn't for you. This phone is a practical phone so that you DON'T have to look like you're afraid of open places by staying to a wall, or fill your baggy pants with 3 extra batteries, just incase you were going to be out all night, playing music from your phone.
If you prefer the N95, you might also want a belt or pair of pants that actually stay on without having to pick them up, cause that phone's big, and if not plastically light, then it's like bringing a brick along with you.

What's more important, 16 mil colors or a better battery life? Do you stare at your phone screen every second of the day? I rather have my phone stay "on" every second of the day. Color don't matter, what good of a phone if I have to watch myself talking because battery issue?

both n95 n k850 is good, but likewise both sometimes are hate by their fans as well.
