The K850 series may've been lost to a fatal crash, but the N95 lost many customers from it's design, it's unreliability, it's cheap materials, it's sucky UI and it's brick-like design. If people wanted something heavy for their bag for safety, they would rather depend on the N95, because if it breaks, there're more peices to attack with.
This phone works with anything that has bluetooth, except 2.1EDR+Touch connect.
The headphones that come with the Walkman series are their entry level in-ear headphones from SE which are better then any other headphones that come with their respective phone. They're also better then the entry level Sony in-ear headphones. You'd have to get into the 50-100 dollar range to get the same quality. (BTW the headphones are around 50 dollars alone anyway. And all prices here are Canadian.)

can the skin of it's music player can be changed?,hopefully or does it music players support animated background just like w960i?,much better.does it displays thumbnails of the artist/album in its' music player? i'll buy this phone if the music player can be customized, if not i'll go on w960i.

For ppl who are saying SE is following nokia i.e. first nokia release 3,5 mp camera and then SE. Well the truth LG was the first company to release a 5MP cam. Which means Nokia follow LG ? NO NOT AT ALL. point is that there is a tough >>>competition

killed my beloved K800i, got the N95 as a free upgrade - sent it back after 2 days. Nasty cheap plasticky phone. what's the point of predictive text if you have to press 3 buttons to get to the wordmatch list?
Next was the G600 - again back after 2 days. Looks fabulous, but texting is damned uncomfortable & the software crashed 3 times on my laptop
Roll on the K850i. I reckon the D pad will take some getting used to, but if it's anywhere near as good as the K800i, I'll be a happy bunny

I'm SO looking forward to this phone, i think it is by far the best 5-MP camera phone, much better than Nokia's N95 and that's not all i just read (http://blog.gadgetlite.com/?p=209) that it'll finally be available to the UK SOON!

you people are very ****ing childish complaining about no WiFi. Pull out your laptop for crying out loud.. And anyways, this is NOT a symbian phone therefore is NOT a smartphone. Get a smartphone if you want all-in-one phones.. so stop whining about this phone not having WiFi..

wait until the SAMSUNG G800 becomes avaliable then both S.E K850 and the N95 wìll havd a real main rival especially as the SAMSUNG G800 ìs 5mp, 3x optical zoom, autofocus, xenon flash and DVD quality video recording that will b the main THREAT!! to the se k850

Thank you for answering my quesiton about the speakers. It looks like I'm going to buy this phone because it has almost everything.
Does anybody know if the headphones that come with this cell phone are good ?
Could the speakers be louder than the W810i

why nokia fans keep on posting negative comments on k850i? are they insecured of it cuz k850i will be a threat to their n95's? why do they boast n95 features in the k850i's area, go post it on n95's areA.

Generally N95 and K850i has some identically features. The release of N95 does the software upgrade help to improve or the batt does it last but k850i has the small keypad and smaller screen. Honestly it doesn't really matter if it is 16million or 262k color SE still provide the clear image and colour overall with the camera is prefect. Once you see it you will understand why more people agree the SE camera is good. Software wise N95 sure outbeat K850i as it support third party. Purely it not own by NOKIA itself so it does cost abit different from SE. Most important is the battery that the phone can run on with much and much function but the battery is low we also can't possible use this function at all.

i want to buy the k850i but why why why why there is no wi-fi,no gps, like the n95..howcome se. with all this tech. and dont know how to put these 2 options...i love u se..but sorry...........

and about that k900 thingy,lol sounds a bit far-fetched..anyway look at the predecessor of k800 the k810..even though the k810 was supposed to b a newer version of the k800 i feel the k800 still looks better..other than that there isnt much of change in the k810 compared to its foundation the k800..so i feel sony ericsson mite make a newer version of k850 as well but it wuld prolly just look different..like they did with the k810..

i think the black and green looks nicer..the silver has a higher chance of bein dirtied or dirt will be more visible on it..and sumhow i find the black green scheme nicer since the back of the phone is also black..btw the thing i really hate about samsungs g600 is that u cant set a mp3 tone for ur smses..only midi is supported..well i dont give a damn about nokia anymore..let those fanboys say whatever they want..coz the k850's a clear champion..

Question!.....I am surely buying this phone...the only problem now is which color should i buy? i like both...both are nice..i wanna have both...lol..ahaha! but which is really nice? i like both..ahahaha......please just post ur answer in this comments...im always cheking out the comments of k850i to know some unveiling secrets...ahahaha
