Electronics depreciates, that's just how the market is, you don't know? PS3 drop couple hundres since last yr, xbox drop as well, I don't even want to start with flat LCDs. So you sayin only Sony ericsson drop in price but not Nokia? N95 was way over $800 when first out, now I can get it less than $600, if that doesn't count as depreciate in value then I don't know what is. Besides, isn't it benefits us as consumer when price drop? Why make it sounds like a bad thing when a product drop in price? And you rather buy everything at their regular price? Don't forget, Sony not just produce high quality phones, they have media center, car stereo, tv, etc. to work with their handset and create a total different life style involve with their products. Does Nokia have other product they can offer their user? Last time I check, their internet tablet series was a failure.

        SE has improved since Sony merged with them.
        Ericsson phones fell apart within weeks.
        I had their 2 G-Shock phones the 250pro and 320 the 250 was huge even in its day.
        Take a look at the Nokia 6250 G-Shock phone. Absolutely the best in the world it would even go half a meter under water. Fall off scaffolding and just keep asking for more.

          Prices are dropped because SE can’t sell their phones for what they would like to sell them for. Nokia never do that they have no need as they sell very well.

              SE reduces the cost of their phones because they can’t sell them.

                W960 and K850 will both be available in October. That's was answer from Sony Ericsson on my question about release date and price. About the price, they said: the price wil be available when the finished product is ready and comes out. Cheers...

                    @SUGAR babes

                    SEE i feel SE purposely reduce its value to attract lots of customers coz in India ppl all are having tight money budget.

                    Some SE phones like W810,K800 rate have not fallen drastically coz of demand and they are fast moving.

                    Nokia N95 was Rs 35990 on the date of release and now it is RS 22890. Whaz the reason tell me?

                        If you had been trying to sell a SE you would of had to pay the buyer to take it off you. lmao

                                    For example when the P990i first came out it was as much as the N95.
                                    Now you can get the P990i free on Vodafone's £30.00 a month tariff but the N95 will still cost £150.00.
                                    So how can SE keep their value when its clear they don't.
