Hey, there something that I want to know the answer to ... can you set your MP3/AAC tunes as your text tone on the SE K850?

The only reason I ask this is, my sister had a Motorola V3i and she could set her favorite MP3/AAC tunes as her text tone. A while later she bought an LG Prada (which i though you could do the same with) turns out it only had preset text tones & you couldn't add your own!

I know this is only a small thing, but if the preset text tones are rubbish, then I want the opportunity to add my own! So if anyone know the answer to my question, I would be very grateful, thanks

Guys stop comparing N95 with k850i both phones are of different categories N95 is a power packed device so naturally it will be bulky and heavy on the other hand K850i is slick stylish camera phone so that it will always remain your companion so it has light weight and slim design and one more thing Nokia fan's are not stupid neither SE fan's are stupid are those who think that other's are foolish and they are the one who are smarter just avoid this guys i'm Nokia fan but i'm SE fan too i will buy this phone as it come's out

Got a chance to toy around with this phone the other day from a lucky person
                  who is beta-testing it.
The gyro game was nice, though I
had a hard time getting used to the
top menu buttons (those 3 little dots just
                  under the display)
Didn't bluetooth over any sample photos
                  to my K810, sadly :(

The Sony Ericsson HGE-100 GPS Enabler headset will be a little revolution. Receive navigation directions on your phone display in the car or on foot in the city. I want it NOW! I don't need to buy a pricey portable GPS.

I've used the K750i for more than two years because I was always hoping and waiting for the perfect phone to come... The N95 was the phone that I deemed too amazing not to have, so I bought it.

The N95 is awesome, but useless. Its too big and I had to have it on my car charger 24/7. The P1 also let me down (the specs are just horrible)

However, this phone looks like the perfect mix for me, small, long life and amazing features (gps, 30fps video, and 5meg pics with real flash)

I've been a smart phone user and fan ever since the p900... but these little party friendly handsets are taking the place of all the bulk that I don't really use anyway.

I saw people who use Nokia , man, most of them are stupid! they don't even knows the functions of the phone. Nokia can'e make good colore screen unlike sonyericsson have beatiful screen colore and longer battery life, functions are easy to use. I used to uses alot of different phone brand before and now I stuck with sonyericsson brand, simply the phone is great to use.

                                @Eigger
You are one of the buyers that the K850 is suited for. So please stop the comparisons between the N95 and K850.

The N95 is for power users and the K850 is for everyone else, who wants good camera and music, plus all the benefits of the powerful non-smartphone UI of Sony Ericsson.

If I were given the chance to pick between N95 and K850, I would definitely pick K850. I have been using GPS in my work and I'm not convince about the precision of accuracy of N95 in picking up GPS satellites. Moreover, here in the Philippines, I'd rather use a laptop to use wi-fi/WLAN than seeing all the web pages in a small screen, which literally makes your eyes sore in just a short time. Besides, having those moving parts in N95 makes you think eventually it will loosen up later and a non-symbian like K850 is pretty much stable compared to N95 symbian. Besides who needs a lot of applications in a phone which you not use it afterwards, more like just showing it that your phone is capable of this and that. I do have before both K800 and N73, and in terms of picture quality, K800 wins the competition which I am expecting also in K850 versus N95. Peace!

This is a great phone, don't judge by its picture but wait till it come out. Once you have it in your hand , you'll love it. Sony can make great products unlike Nokia, they only can make mobile phone which is sell too damn expensive.

                                        I'm so loving the phone...

And Seriously, You Don't Have To Compare N95 with K850i this is because they are in two different classes. We have the smartphone and the Cmaera Phone...

But if I were to be asked, I'd rather have K850i.

This is because....I don't need the GPS and stuff...The N95 is bulky and big and very unaffordable....the phone is expensive..so i expect the The K850i wont be that expensive because it doesn't have the GPS, Wifi And other stuff that N95 has...But all I need is a working elegant phone which is useful and cool in design...

So don't compare the phones....For me it's you decision which phone you want to buy...

If you want an all in one...you get the N95..

If You want a crisped photos...you get the K850i

                                        So..it's your decision..

                                        Good Luck in choosing..

PS: I'm getting K850i...I am in love with it...

                                        Hehehe...... PEACE!
