hay it seems this doesnt have a cover for the camera lens.Is it the case???. I wouldnt buy a cam phone without a cam cover if Im seriously looking at the camera options

FOR ME, NOKIA IS BETTER becoz nokia for longer use.sony ericsson is very weak.maybe 2-3 years,it will have a problem.id used ericsson once.after iyr or less,ive seen problem so ive changed.but nokia ive changed not becoz it has a problem but i want new model.

wow such a great phone! 5MP phone!!?? awesome! crazy!!! no other company can be like s.e! this is like the first 5MP camera phone! coool!!! what is the average price for this phone?

I like the specs for this phone and its really a neat phone.Its amazing what a 118 gram handset can..do..luv sony ericsson

If the Nokia N82 is not coming out, i will buy this phone with the HGE-100 GPS Enabler. I really hope the price will not go over 600USD.

Lets hope for a few things:
operating time is fair. (i.e. it doesnt take forever for the camera to load up, so by the time u want to take a photo, the thing u wanted to take the photo of has disappeared AND open-to-focus-to-shoot time)
it will also be interesting how the new 'd-pad' (type) thing works. the joysticks were shocking on the K750/W800 etc. K800 was better, but not by much. im glad to see they've got ridden of it, but lets hope this is actually an improvement.
Finally, hopefully they have an adequate file management system. If this phone was similar to Nokia N-series OS (i.e. multiple avenues to access files, 'gallery' view, file manager (similar to windows style-kindof) it would be excellent. But no SE phone has had taht in the past, and I doubt this will.
I also have no doubt in my mind this will have sublime camera quality. SE phones never disappoint. heck, even the K750 2MP is pretty damn clear. they are better than the nokias, thats for sure (and i own an N73).
This may (i repeat, MAY) be my next phone. Lets see how it goes.

This is the perfect handset, 8gb of internal memory, 3mp camera, Bluetooth, 3G, Wi-Fi AND a touchscreen handset as well? Looks like the Nokia fanboys are upset again. I can see why, they have the really poor N-95, S/E fans have this for music, or the K850 for the camera, or the P990 for business....

Maybe you live under a rock, but if you haven't noticed, the W960 has symbian and has wlan also, might want to check that out.

You aren't making any sense, and how do you know that this phone isn't user friendly as N95, when it isn't even out. And I can bet you a million dollars that it will be much more user friendly then the N95 because of the OS.

Okay this make nonsense, the camera lens looks slightly bigger than old ones like K810, K800 and K750. This means, bringing 5MP snaps more accurate and detail, BUT isn't weird having big lens WITHOUT optical zoom? N93 has big lens and have optical zoom. nuff said.

Anyone knows if it has IRDA? (K810 specs at first didn't show it, but was later added). For photo, I hope for speed improvement over K750.
