I like this phone.
Yes, I know the camera isn't the best around and, honestly, I quite often think my N80 does a much better job with its 3.2MP sensor.
But this SE still feels great. A big and vivid display, with little frame (which makes it look bigger) and those 3 touch-sensitive buttons make it extremely appealing.
Menus are quite OK and the sound is very good. The only big-time disadvantage I find is related to 3G services. This phone cannot access the web portal of any carrier in Portugal, nor can it support some web-based applications like Messenger, which are common for much more simple phones like Nokia 5300. I can't understand this, but I feel SE failed somewhere along the way with this K850. Either that or Vodafone, TMN and Optimus are just making fools of their clients. =P

If you want to maximize your K850's music playing abilities I suggest you download the compatible music / media players around. I did with mine and it is better than the built in media player of the phone.

I like this phone.

RepAireD, 19 May 2009my 8 month old k850 was sent to the service center last mar... moreyesterday i faced that fault in my SE K850i friend. if you don't mind would you please tell me what is that fault???? still i haven't repair my SE K850i.i brought it 8 months ago. Is that a software trouble??? & how much it will take for the repair????

My old 2 mega pixel K750i takes superior quality photos than my 5 mega pixel K850i. The only good thing about the latter is that it has Xenon flash.

my 8 month old k850 was sent to the service center last march because the display dies every time you press the keypad. they said that it would only take them 1 to 3 weeks to repair but it took them 2 months!
