This phone looks awesome! definatly upgrading when this comes out. For the nokia nuts. Find a new thing to post about. You all sound like 13 year olds. do you think the nokia fairy will leave you a quarter if you bash every other product. Grow up! By the way santa claus does not exist. Sorry nokia tree huggers.

Man i am using the k790i and the camera result is way better than N73. So Surely k850 will have a better cam quality than n95. N95 sucks k850 is the best.

Hey guyz, since IT HAS 5 Megapixels, I doubt K850 video rec. resolution would be QVGA or VGA?

n95 is a joke, the battery life is terrible but i duno about the keys on this phone, could be a pain in the ass to text, but 9 hrs talk time is very very impressive...........

Hey come on guys. I just returned my N95 after having it for just 36 hours. I bought it for $700. Cam was excellent but it was big and bulky and very very fat. Slider sucked and thrice it opened in my coat and dialled from my phonebook. In just 36 hours I got very fed up and I had to make an important phone call and then suddenly the phone went dead and a blue screen appeared. I had to borrow my friends phone. I went to Nokia and when I gave them the phone the woman said Not another N95 again. I returned the phone and got my money back. Then I drove straight to Sony Ericsson and bought a K800i and boy am i amazed. It is very portable and great. It is much slimmer than N95 but not like my other X820. But the cam is AWESOME. I just took 18 pics with my N95 but the pics with K800 are much superior.
This way I liked the K800 alot more than my N95 although it has way more features. I think Nokia are going in the wrong direction and are making big phones again. The N93 was a huge monster and this is even bigger! SE is on the right track with a 5MP cam in a 17mm body. Luckily I have got above $350 saved after buying K800 as Nokias are so damn expensive!!! I remember N90 coming out for $950 when K750 came out for $525. This will also not be more expensive than $500...
I will but it as soon as possible so to use as my primary phone and throw out my K700 and use my K800 as my secondary one.

Nokia N95 If you filled the memory the phone will Restart and become slow.... k700 old phone but if you filled the memory there is no problem. that indicate the nokia unsuccessful.

SE K850 5mp camera is better then n95 5mp camera it has xenon flash. K850 is a cyber-shot …the camera and the software is made by Sony is has years of experience with digital cameras that is way k750i/w800i/w810i/d750i was better then n90 and the rest of the 2 mega pixel phones from Nokia and k800/k810 is better then n73 n80 n93. I don’t say that Nokia are bad phones I have 6288 and it’s an excellent phone is has a big screen with excellent quality but the camera is not good at pictures at videos it’s excellent. Nokia are the best at videos and display

K850 is def not an "old Ford" but a new Ferrari, N95 is smth even more exotic,
smth like...the 1000+ hp Veyron...
We will have to consider their price/performance to make the final winner.
K850 has:
-better resolution/physical dimension display and the 16m colours add nothing more in a such reduced display but a great battery consumtion,New tech 3d graphic card will really deliver a massive blow to competition
-Almost double battery autonomy, one of the main reasons i was restrained of buying N95,
N95 has a riduculous thirst for energy and its not only because of the 16mil display...
-bulletproof OS, it has all necessary functions and SE has dramatically reduced soft problems, N95 is FULL of bugs and its too slow because of the small CPU.
-SE generally makes better picture taker phones and Nokia better video cam phones, i think the tradition will go on, i expect K850 to be the best camera phone in the market, i think thats its main role and SE concentrated there without hurrying it for the sake of advertisement. I knew that by the time N95 will hit the stores competition will be on their way and here they are, codus to SE for not making us wait this phone announcing it a year earlier...
-SE with their walkman series dominated the market in terms of music quality, this wont change in a months time, they are light years forward, the 3.5mm jack is included in the packet and it is a part of the handsfree,
but i think there is no need for extra costs,
SE has state of the art tech on handsfree with excellent quality
-the total memory included in the packet is 5((512+40)= 552MB, instead of (128+160)= 188MB
but still too litle for both phones, K850 has almost barable enough capacity though, (it doesn need more than 40MB for Java applications)Respecting the client is is an important thing, a 128MB card for a high tech phone is a joke...
-K850 has overall better dimensions and does not risc structure like sliders do, the auto lens cover is an extra guarantee and i wonder how SE keep making better batteries while having reduced dimensions than other competitors, 17mm is a remarcable achievement for a 5mp mobile!!!
it seems that K850 is a wiser choice for the everyday use but N95 holds some special features that might win ppls admiration but not achieving the same sales.
The killer function N95 has is the gps reciever, although it has a mediocre gps antenna and is limited to the pre-installed soft, it is the ultimate eye candy,
maybe enough to determine the buy(if someone can afford such an overpriced phone)
I m not willing to pay a fortune for the online "download-able" maps and vocal instructions N95 asks for and get in return mediocre results comparing to every other gps in the market.
If there is no "alternative" choice, i will buy the friendly user K850 insteed,
SE respects their clinets and don not ask them to pay a fortune to buy the phone,
another fortune to buy decent accesories
and another fortune for the exclusive rights soft they have, Nokia wasnt used to be like that, they are now becoming more and more like Sharp, maximize profit and have no respect for client.
Whatver u ppl vote consumers will have the final word and the most fanatic Nokia fans wouldnt pay a fortune for a crippled on purpose high perfonace phone that needs recharge twice a day...

To the guy with de comparation betwen K850i and N95: N95 last 1 day or 2 if you don't use it at all (the battery). What is the point to have all those features and don't have the battery to use them??? Plus: the slide is terrible; the OS is instable, it has lag. What is more important? To have GPS and a battery for couple of hours and you will not be able to make a call because your battery will be dead OR to have a K850i with 4 days battery life and the posibility to make a call any time?? Sorry man, but K850i is better!

ee we got your n95 vs k850 point. Compare the phones if you've really tried them. You didnt try the SE? Well than dont judge the phones just from specifications. Praxis is different than theory!

its sad that the Nokia fans try to manipulate the votes... are you scared because the SE is better? Well you should be.. The Sonyericsson K850 is not even for sell yet and there is allready so much fuse about that.. thanks for helping all ya little Nokia fans:))

wow just becose se now is at 5 mega like nokia so whattt ??? the market is big some will go for nokia and some will for se some will go ferrari some will go for an old ford

dont like the design men..:| ..and the display..a nother thing..nokia is the best..SE is next on the list..the thing about this phone is the camera..this makes sonny front of samsung..it makes it the no. 2 on the mible market..

Nokia's fans feel threaten by this phone thus they started to condemn it. So it is a good sign indeed for SE and it's fans. Conclusion = K850 is an excellent phone. It makes you either love or jealous about it, depends on which camp you are in :)

Maybe the price this terrible but K850 still have a good advantage that is the battery life is longer than H95!
