It does support SSL POP3 email accounts. I set up my GMail account onto it and works perfectly.

To anyone who's about to get this phone, I quite like the simple design and the keyboard, that takes sometime to get used to but then it is excellent. M2 can greatly upgrade its capacity to 8gb rather than the 4gb in the W950, but I really wouldn't suggest this phone at all for media purposes - playlists are extremely difficult to make, I managed to have coreplayer installed on it, but the sound quality is nothing like the onboard player. The onboard media player still produces excellent sound, just like all other sony mobile phones.

Yes it supports 3G but only for downloading data and not for video calling because it doesn't have camera.

very good display , i am using it as modem and working nicely in 3G areas.
opera mini browser works well.i can check my mails and can comunicate hotmail and yahoo messengers thorough opera mini.
i was unable to push my mails into my mobile.
                  I purchased it for 600-SR (160 USD)so good price /benefit ratio.
one should not expect a camera in this price range in a smart phone

Battery drains quickly if ur surfing , thats why i have to keep another mobile for my normal voice communication.

                  still i love it.

                    No M600 doesn't support Wifi. Buy P990, P1, or W960 for Wifi

Yes I can use jogdial and touchscreen to click links on Opera Mini 3.1.8295 and should work on version 4.xx too.

Find some links to latest firmware info at http://harga.50webs.com/ You still can setup POP3 email as long as it doesn't need SSL like www.gawab.com

It looks like same experience to me. AFAIK its email client doesn't support SSL that really needed if you want open Gmail or Yahoo thru POP3 server.

I am using this baby, the white version has more beautiful look. A great phone for browsing internet thru Opera Mini with easy touchscreen. If you want a faster operating response you should upgrade to the latest firmware at SE service center, only install any applicaton or save data to memory card, disable transition option, and disable handwriting recognition. Good luck
