there are two things to consider if that's the case:
it's either the touchscreen is defective when you purchased it before, better ask the vendor where you've purchased the handset
or
it's a software problem and you can remedy this by updating the software via sonyericsson site=D

WIFI - Wireless Fidelity, meaning you can connect to the high-speed internet without having subscription to the networks like DSL, Dial Up networking and 3G/HSDPA. as long as you have spotted a "Wifi hotspot" in order to connect.
Carl-zeiss - A type of lens used in SONY CYBERSHOT cameras, the best lens if you would mention it's great flare reducing capability as it can help the CCD sensor to produce higher contrast images(eye pleasing images). though i don't know what crappy quality had the nokia done with this lens in their N-series. comparing the two cameras N-series with CZ and Cybershots from Sony won't give interesting comparison. Cybershots rules!

What can one do if the update fails. I try to update and my internet connection failed midway. I lost the former firmware and the phone is not fully updated. I cannot use my phone anymore. I try to repeat the update but it does not work and no related FAQ on ericsson site. I have the latest update software.

I was looking for phone/pda, I had treo 650, mini O2 so I am familiar with smartphones. I wanted a cool phone that has PDA features as well and I really like the size, weight and look of the M600. I did the usual net search before purchasing, most reviews are positive even from users forum. Ignore them, they are either sony retailers or related interested parties. honest owners would tell you not to buy this one.
I am an actual owner and you can contact me on zippywombat@gmail.com for honest, unbiased experience. Great phone, brilliant screen and design but its software is a horror to use and full of bugs. Had to 1 perform factory reset after 2 months of purchase, when I couldn't fix one of the bug with soft/hard reset, removing the battery etc. Lost all my setting and preferences hence I don't customise the phone anymore ie ring tones etc. I am on my third month with this phone, and it is not a cheap phone so it'd be sometime before I can afford another phone therefore my advice do not buy this phone.

can someone please help me with my touchscreen problem?? it wont work...someone please what can i do...the stylus nor finger wont work...it's as if the touch screen has disappeared or something someone help what should i do??? can itr be fixed or is there some settings i have to change???

Dont no if anyone else has mentioned this but just for your information this phone does support A2DP (compatible with bluetooth headphones for music). thought it worth a mention as there is no info on the spec sheet.

Thanks for your concern. I have already dowloaded the software. I was actually updating my phone and the internet connection failed. So, the update was not completed and I tried to continue later but was unsuccessful. The phone is no longer working cos the update was partial and I cannot repeat the update. Any Suggestion?

For userm600
You can also update your phone's firmware by downloading it from www.sonyericsson.com site and navigating to section for M600. Download the software to update your phone from there. The whole procedure for updating is explained there. Then you can connect your phone to the PC with the data cable and follow the instructions. I think that should work, hoping that for you. hi, pls help me out on this-i need to know, whether this device can do the following.
you right your signatur in the touchscreen with the plastic pen SE has provided. and u can save it in the memory.
is the above mentioned possible. i'm doing a a research to implement software to capture signature from a mobile device. if anyone of u have any suggetions, a reply will be most appreciated. thnx . tc

Hey guys pls help me out!!!!
I just got this phone a weeks back....When i check my pictures in Slideshow option...the colors of the picture is reddish and disorted!!! anyone having this problem! Pls help me out..do i need to replace my phone guys!!! Pls help!

dis phone very great. i used 5 month. no complain o no hang. i used 2gig memory card it's work great.. Hail sonyericsson..

Has anyone used a 2GB card with this phone? I read a few posts back that it works fine with 1 GB card. The phone supports 4 GB max and should work fine with a 2GB card.
