how to update sony ericsson m600i firmware?
the updater tell me to press c button, but i can't find the button in my keyboard. plz help.

hey guys.good news for those smartphone users who dont have cam.i just found 2.2mp cord cam (with flash)for them.it sopports nokia E60,E61,E50 & sony ericsson M608,M600i,W950i just put the cam cord to ur data cable port of phone and install the soft on ur cell(comes with packez).ready to rock...it will cost $65 with 3 months warranty.with soft sopport u can make qcif-cif clip(depanding on cell perfomence)

with upgraded to the latest firmware (R9EA001) (you can upgrade it yourself with Sony Ericsson Service Update, download it from www.sonyericsson.com support) it makes M600i stable and faster than first firmware!! Great phone!!

so u r.i got bought myself a M600i today..it seems pretty nice for business perpose..but playing video is whors.it cant even play( 176x144 25fps at 200kb/s) qcif video at fullscreen mode smoothly.thanx to SYMBIAN based DVD player
soft.now i can play more then 5 types of video formats smoothly.

i love the conpenies product,and i have been used sonyericsson phone just like k700i the product was good to say atlist it last for three to four years with out any problem thats what why i have to order for it(m600)

i said almost brainiac, point is that that kinda of compression ratio is huge for a cell phone
the different in 160x120 vs 320x240 is that 1 pixel is stretched to 4, but since on the m600i u cant actually see the pixels, the naked eye wont cant the difference
the m600i achieves 16m colours as well through dithering, these are all 6bit panels, so 262k colours, 16,2 is achieved through dithering ; e61 is supposed to be 16m but the colours are quite dead, so pls, an empty spec list doesnt mean anything and doesnt have anythin to do with series 60 3rd edition

correction DVD videos are played in 5.10mb - 5.90mb per sec & audio at 512kb/sec,(not at 350kb/sec,lol). defrance between 160x120 & 320x240 is huge,but if u say so,lol.believe me..I m a professional video editor.i had Sony Ericsson p990i its Symbian OS is so much whors then i expected.Symbian OS is not that much stable as any NOKIA cell.
& what about E70 ?
for u....it got itself a ,Blackberry connectivity, 16M huge colour disply , landscape mode for everithing running on cell,very stable & fastest respond Symbian OS.
so yor r not one who knows all about Symbian OS .... someone knows something better.!!!

i compressed episodes from different shows to 80 or 120 mbytes, depending on quality/fps/resolution
i generally used high quality/30 fps/160x120 resolution cause i didnt see much difference at 320x240
basicly, a 50 minutes episode at high quality/30 fps and 160x120 had 80 mbytes, the phone took a lil time to load it, but after that the playback was smooth

hello,hey i just saw all the fetures of this phone all over net.but i wanna know , is this cell phone can play video file as long as 150MB+. what is like ... 350kb/sec ( 5.60mb per min with 176x144 or 320x240 pixl) ? because i loved to watch movies on my cell , anyone who owned this m600 can tell me is that a good fullscreen movie player in it like nokia E70 ?

Hi guys,
The volume is still low while talking even though I turn it up using a jog. Does anybody
know how to fix it?
Also, the battery is not charged well using a charger. Is that a problem with the battery or setup?

I bought this phone 2 months ago and it's the best. It has a very nice&easy user interface and the touchscreen is great because you can use even your fingers (and of course the stylus). Even though some say that the OS is buggy, i can say from experience that it has a very stable OS, of course if you know how to use it.
The qwerty keyboard is great and it's very easy to use even if you have big fingers.
P.S.: For those who saw the W950i, I recommend M600i because it's the same UIQ3 but with a different look, but worse keypad.

Hi I need help.. I know this phone supports the TOMTOM navigation software; but does it come standard with the software included in the package or do i have to buy / download?
Also, can anyone tell me about experience with this? Does it work properly? Does it make the phone respond slower than before?
