Hi all. I just recieved my m600 today. I bought it off plemix and it was apparently shipped from Hong Kong. I am very delighted at the features, unfortunately i have a slight problem. Although, at the start I selected the Enlgish(UK) language option, the text options during messaging are in Chinese!!! Please does anyone have a solution to this problem. I would greatly appreciate your help. Thanks

oh brother, if u want custom equalizer just install LCG Jukebox or some similar program
of course only uiq 3.0 work, the same way only series 60 apps work on series 60 phones, series 90 apps work on series 90 phones, series 60ui apps work on series series 60ui symbian and so so on

Finally I bought this phone. I think this is a good choice over E61. Its dual alphabetic keys are much easier to use than it seems.
Few points I would like to make regarding my earlier queries for which I did not get any clear answers-
The music player has no custom preset in equalizer, but at megabass, the sound quality is exactly the same as w700i, considering you use the same headphone.
Only UIQ 3.0 apps gets installed on the phone, a lot of which are available at www.handango.com.

asking about a pdf reader on a symbian phone is like asking if a dog can roll over

marvs624, ur better of investing in a reading class so that in the future u will notice for yourself the obvious specifications of the phone.

thanx again for quick reply ... had been attracted to JAMin, but reading the reviews its a dicy decision to go in for that.
as i told u earlier, m using a 9300 at d moment, so camera/ wifi is not a big issue, want a smartphone able to handle office applications with gr8 sound & features.
as always SonyEric has had d better sound-screen clarity...
any other major issues with the phone???

so lets start with jamin and n80 the advantage is that u get 2&3 mp camera in both with macro i agree that macro is useful in office but never underestimate a qwerty keyboard+touch scren.only key board or touch scren wont help in emails.also it is sleeker with black berry!what elre can u ask!jamin being windows may luk atractive bt tyring wud b a pain and n80 is jack of al bt master of none.also screen is btr with a grt batry life.u wud surely mis wlan bt i dnt knw if u use it.in the end m600 much btr if u leave wlan+camera.bt ie u need g go 4 kjam/jasjam/e61

Had this phone for almost a year and it works great. Read Excel, words, Outlook, powerpoint, and PDF.. It memomrizes about 400 plus calls of all sort; incoming, missed, and outgoing! Internet wap is excellent, quite fast. I had google world upload into the phone and use it as it was on a desktop! Great graphics and agility. Key pads layout are genius! Battery last a long time. I use over 7000 minutes a months and after 10 months the battery has shown no sign of aging. The only suggestion is that; don't update your phone OS software if you don't have to. It takes about 30 minutes to download and installed, and sometime it doesn't do anything! There is no phone out there can do the samething, and has a better style than this.
