I have had my M600 for a week now..the problem is that it freezes on average 15 times a day.At times I am foced to remove the batters off and restart it.Is there anything that I perhaps forgot to activate on my handset maybe?

i dont think there is a micro stick 4gb card
and i doubt the phone would support 1
from my knowledge max is 1gb, but it may be 2 (correct me if im wrong)
as for organising music, the functions in the phone seem quite advanced for a mobile phone.
im not sure how different the firmware in w950, if the music application is firmware dependent or simply an aplication installed on the symbian uiq 3.0 os

standby values are completely different from phone usage
reducing brightness, disabling 3g if ur not using it should help improve battery life

Great phone, just a pity the battery life is nothing like what is specified by the manufacturer. Any comments/suggestions from other users. I m based in Cape Town South Africa

The display is so fine that I can't read the small letter, anyone know how to make the letter bigger? Mind you, I am over 50 yo.

The reason being is, The W950i is double the price of the M600i. The W950i contains the walkman software for organising music. I can buy the M600i And a 4GB card for £50 and load the W950I firmware and Bingo.

since they both run symbian uiq 3.0, the possiblities are the same
if u want w950i, just buy that phone
why would u load its firmware ?

You can set mp3 and aac files as ring tones.

As for video calling - this phone CAN do video calls - but just one-way. If you ask me, this is better (though your wife may not like it LOL).

Can anyone tell me if you can set an MP3 as the ring tone on the M600i ? Also, is there a limit to the amount of sms's in the inbox before its full and you have to delete ?

I'm thinking of buying this phone but the only two thing that is preventing me from buying is that this phone mainly don't have a wifi and not so important but a camera only for video calling would be so great.
No need for a camera to take pictures only for video calling is enough!!!
Hope that SE releases a new version with wifi and a camera for video calling, I would be the first one to buy this version if ever they release!!! And I think a lot of people would do so and hope so also!!!

If you keep asking for a camera, you are certainly not part of the target population for the phone. Is a BUSINESS PHONE. Get back in some 15 years.

P.S. Did you know that cameras happen to be forbidden in some places, like certain industrial facilities?

Who gives a rat's ass about a stupid camera. I'm upgrading to this phone over this coming weekend. Can't wait. Sick and tired of all the extra gadgets they put into these phones. A PDA like phone is good enough for me. And the battery life just sounds amazing.
