@ lukas

How do you know the specs of the wilma? or are you saying that THIS is the wilma? Aswell, I think you've got a few errors. I doubt sony will switch to SD cards from their own branded memory sticks, and I doubt they'd make the next phone in the K series lineup a smartphone.

Looks like it has the sony scroll wheel! (on the left)
That in itself is a good reason to buy it.

This phone doesn't have a camera in order to adress all business people who like a phone full of features but who are not allowed to have phones due to their own company policy. If you look around at high feature phones very few do not have a camera. This is the nisch where this phone comes in. Nice job, SE!!

          nice idea on QWERTY keyboard..

          Dreadnought:
precisely! looks like a calculator with a color screen! for me Nokia E61's design is definitely better than this M600.

SMH @ people not realising this is to combat a Blackberry which has no camera and iits better than a blackberry, not all phones need one, go for the P990 if ya'll wanna camera.

slim communicator! however, aside from its touchscreen, M600 has no match to Nokia E70! M600 has a big 2.6 inch screen and it has only 262K QVGA resolution compared to E70's awesome 352 x 416 (though smaller only 2.1", but still has higher resolution) with 16 million colors! not to mention E70 has a 2mpx camera with CIF video capture/playback plus WLAN that M600 can only dream about...

from a business perspective, lack of Wi-Fi is its big downfall. Many other PDA/smartphone/etc that dont have Wi-fi built-in do have the option for an addition, so it will be interesting to see how this fairs.
Other than that, it does include all you would possibly need for business. In a general perspective thou, it is very plain looking- a bit of a disappointment.

Price will be the big turning point.

Lukas, SE will never ever use SD card of their rivals :D i believe that (H)... Too bad that they cut the wifi off, they are almost Nokia E61's real rival (but the E61 has wifi!)

the phone has to be low priced otherwise it wont work.im a big se fan im using w550i but this phone is a let down it lacks radio, camera, edge.it looks good.atleast it should have had 1.3mp camera n radio.business wise is good.
                                    DISAPPOINTED...

Sony Ericsson Wilma/Sony Ericsson K800. That is the same model with 466MB inside memory, SD cards slot, 16milion colours Qtft screen, 3.2Mpixels camera, 2,5inch screen, light weight, slim and "has defence" from vatter, dust. Comming soon: 2007 1Quarter

it just keeps getting better and better. let's hope the absence of a camera will keep the price of this phone down.
