One of the best phone i use ever
Good multi tasking
Camera
Its sound were good
Dial was good idea
Even at that time i use this phone without stylus

Still have this and use it as my main phone, I absolutely love it. I bought it on May 2008 and it is still holding up great. The battery still lasts for a week on standby. Only issues are the jog dial is finicky and the charging port needs some wiggling in order to get it to charge.
It is much more practical than modern smartphones due to its size and the physical keypad. I will continue to use this over modern smartphones, which I do own but rarely use.

The original battery is 1120 mah, li-po, type BST-40 & not 950 mah as mentioned by gsmarena
It does take also the BST-33 / 950 mah (from the k800) same size but thinner, the bst-33 due to lower mah, it last way less
However at the k800 can not use the BST-40 because while the round / side sizes are correct ones, the bst-40 is thicker & will not fit inside the k800 ... if you push it hard in, then it will never come out of the k800
The manufacturer saying it can work up to 2 - 4GB memory card ... but i have a Sandisk Memory Stick Micro (M2) 8GB since day one i got the phone and works great (even the card after 10 years) no issue noticed using 8GB card with the p1i

I got it as soon was available with O2 (was unlocked to all networks at that time) something back by the end of 2007 when i was in UK
I did used for almost 2 years (that time)
Now back in Greece 2017 my main phone need battery replacement, so till i order one, i got this one in use (preferred than a k800i i also own, because this one has wifi)
The original browser does not work due to security, no either the online player PlayNow (asking to visit sony for newer model supporting PlayNow) however opera asked for update to version 8.x.x and bingo, internet works great for almost all websites & opera has newer better UI ... so i can use the wifi of it
Battery 10 years later is in GREAT condition, i manage to get 4 days stand by & the first 2 days was using the phone almost all day to set it how i want for new provider,checking all menus, adding new sort cuts, deleting old texts, photos etc & in total 5 minutes of calls
That POLYMER batteries seems are one of best out there, no way li-ion lasted so long with the same power
Is a great phone, i really like it & feel lucky owner ... even when the other battery arrives, i am planning to use it some longer time
It has good reception as well because its antenna is at the top of the phone, so is not covered by hand when i am on call
It does not have much applications to install but i do not need them as i am basic phone user by now

can anybody installed whatsapp in this mobile. I m still using it. But need whatsapp. Its a symbian smartphone hence some geek can cook ROM for it which supports whatsapp. Please do something if anyone can. I dont want to stop using this fone.
