wht is the FM recording format of R300?
and can I use it as a GPRS modem?
If anyone konw those, pls answer. I wanna buy a R300 instead of using a W200i? Wht sholud I

If at stand-by mode and clock mode is set on:
- Will BLACK digital clock shown on WHITE display background or WHITE digital clock shown on BLACK display background?

I love Sony products,most of the phone I owned are SonyEricsson from,The one I have now is SE R300 Radio,I love this phone although its not so good in specs,the one I after is the portability,slim/pocket size/simplicity
PROS:Slim,Long Batt.life,Good speakerphone
nice keypad, my rate 9/10(Design)
CONS: Dont spect too much for this phone
Not good in Camera/8MB Memory/No Slot
if you want Hi-End Phone u have to pay
more and this phone is affordable $99+
Im tired of buying Hi-end phones so I sticked
to this one its simple,slim,good4calls :-)Recommended.....8.5/10 overall
Passed SE-phones I have(T68i,T610,K608,K610,K750i,W810i,P900,P990i)
Tested most of SE phones, SE is designs and battery life is better than NOKIA

i love this phone ...its designe is superb and amazingly it has AM which a new thing and i realy love to buy this phone SE is master in making new annovations but if the built in memory is lil large it will be more attractive

I am from Mumbai. I am looking for 'Antique Copper' version of the phone. However, at all the places that I have been to, I could only find the 'Steel Black' version. Can any one tell me where I can get the 'Antique Copper' R300 in Mumbai and what is the minimum price it is available for. At RPG, it is available for 3529, but as someone has mentioned that in Bangalore (Devendra Telecom), it's available for 3100.

Yes Sony Ericsson phones are stylish and classy. Style and class don't necessarily have anything to do with repetition. Nokia phones at the same price level and some of them even beyond this price level look like tacky, tasteless toys.

This is a very good model 4 'beginner's'. Screen is very much sharper than UBC screen models like eg; K300,W200. In fact, this model looks very stylish & it supports MP3. So user's could set a short-song as caller ringtone.

Man all you bozos saying the R300 has low memory probably don't even know how to use a computer. Who needs a stupid memory card and a silly cam on a phone when we have PCs/laptops and digital cams. This phone looks like a nifty FM radio+phone that looks the best in its class.

1. Anyone who say that R300 have very low memory why did he not go for those sets those have memory card sloc.
2. A number of people does not want to listion music throu their phone and they use phone just for calls
3. On other hands some peoples wasnt to by a mobile just with camera and mp3 ring tones for those this phone is good.
4. you does not say that a phone is bad because I does not have a function which you want, Yes you can say it bad if it have a feature but it does not work perperly, slow sound and any manufacturing falt.
5. So choose your best mobile and do not falt out other mobiles because many people like that phone on whom you are pointing.
