I thought I'd better let everyone in to a secret I have discovered about this phone - please let me know if any of you have found the same -
If you tune the radio in to a specific frequency on AM and press the 'record' button you are able to listen to NASA communications between ground control and their pilots/astronauts.
I discovered this after finding some information on the NASA website about there communications with the Space Shuttles - I couldn't believe listening to ground control guiding a shuttle through Earth re-entry, it was truly amazing.
This discovery was cool enough - but after reading an article in CB & HAM Radio monthly about radio freqency's and paranormal activity I tried an experiment they suggested by tuning the radio in to a certain frequency, recording it and then playing back the recording - the results were shocking. I'm sure some of you will have seen a film called white noise -depicting the true stroy of scientists who have recording of spirits/entities whatever you want to call them. I have done this on this phone, I don't scare very easily but this really has shaken me up - I was in the room on my own and the sounds that have been recorded have to be heard to be believed.

tomas: some radio stations don't have commercials, and even the ones that do don't have them for very long. Plus there is news, weather, traffic, etc and good music

This is a good phone...
Retro feeling, Bluetooth, USB, VGA Cam, AM/FM RADIO with RDS and TrackID, mp3 ringtones.

Why would you need a FM radio on your phone? Somebody explain it to me…
FM is heavy with commercials every few minutes they play long and boring advertisements. Most of the gyms are build with steel frame so radios do not work.

better as a radio than a cell phone ... s.e.
should consantrate on making there same
looking firmware to another level than
making designs like this ... its being
like 5 years or 6 years well i dont know
but s.e. firmware and menus still look
the same apart from the few overpriced
symbian phones they have made ... i saw a
comment by someone in gsm arena about a
s.e. phone he have mentioned that s.e.
have cheated him over and over again and
that all the menus in almost all of his
phones looks the same so he have been
fedup and have moved to nokia symbian
phones ... i think s.e. can do a better
job than this ...

WOW SE!! U Finaly did it..
People normally wud abuse Nokia for making basic models, but now SE has also joined the rat race. This is a good example for people to understand that not every1 in this world is rich enough to buy a Nokia N 95 8 GB.
Secondly, itz good that SE has radio as a feature on this phone, but I fail to understand the purpose of radio recorder. With only 8 mb space, what can u record. Also the best part of it is the MP# player. So funny, the MP3 player wud b jus good enouugh to hold 2 of my fav songs & then an error wud come up stating 'No space for new messages' Pls delete something useful inorder for something new to come in. lol!!
Anyways, on a positive note, Good Job SE.

The mp3 player is useless - only 8 MB and no card slot - i should listen a song, then delete to listen the next one.:) I would prefer card slot before vga camera - she is a joke.

I hope this phone has advanced RDS features like on the P1i/W960 like PTY and TA. Normally SE phones only have the basic PS and AF.
The phone itself looks really nice.

Finally a cellular phone that combines AM Radio! Yeah it does not the latest doodads such as MP3 player and multi-megapixel camera. But I am an avid AM listener and this is my phone. This phone would be great whenever there are strong typhoons visit our areas and no other source of information but AM stations. Also, this might be a good phone for emergency personnel. 8-)

this phone will be a great seller it has the looks and the price should not be too high, some people feel the SE must only make highend phones so what about people with a budget that cant afford expensive phones

+ Great battery, nice design, radio,
great speaker, modern software, 1000 contacts, bluetooth,
without all other things that I don't use, and because of that price will not be too high.
This is phone for me. :)

believe it or not
there is some people who don't care for the music in their phone and like to listen to it in the mp3 players
there is some people who only cre about the looks and the radio and a small camera for some pics and this phone is for them...
