ok, well.. first thing, a friend of mine use this model.
He got into lots of problem..
1. Led of 2.0 camera, pretend to have flash (not a problem to me)
2. No themes can be set for this model except the original sony one.
3. This model cannot run any appication in .jar, .jad extension for games installation, application installation.
4. We could only zoom the camera in VGA resolution of camera instead of 1.0 and 2.0 mp (cant at all)

just buy this phone yesterday..this phone is amazing...usb can recognize it...maybe sony update it...and this phone just hanf when to unlock keypad which is just 5 second..the picture is amazing..photo fix is cool...

HI,
Dont buy this stupid phone S312.U ll get disappoinment...nothing is good...every options having some issues.Battery ,camera quality is very worst,...instead on buying this one u can buy any other mobiles...expect this...This is only SONY mobile made for especially railway track.Throw it on the railway track...

Gowtham, 09 Jan 2010Iwant themes some body help methen you're at a loss.. SE S312 is not capable of installing themes via any means.. you can only edit the contents of you memory card and you phone memory if its plugged in to a pc..

Battery is Very very very very Worst. Other things are ok. Sony have to reconsider about the battery. Never expected this disappapointment from sony.....

its not a very good phone. it keeps hanging. there have been several occasions when it went totally blank. also, many times-my phone keeps ringing and i press the accept button- but it still keeps ringing. service didnt help either. the camera is also pretty much a let down :(
