those problems u mentioned in this blog would be absolutely considered. In the mean time, I have no such problems found in my s312 since i bought it in June in Australia.
So , it might be depending on the sellers whether they are trustworthy.But if not, try hard to repair or upgrade in the period of ur warranty then.

SR, 03 Sep 2009I bought this phone yesterday. And have found out the follo... more-oOo-More Updates-oOo-
After 4 days, I have started facing the following issues.
- When tried to take a photo 'Not Available' Message popped up and didn't allow. Tried changing the mode to 1mp from default 2mp. Still the error remains. Then changed it to VGA mode, it worked. Video also worked.
- I tried to switch off and on the phone. After that it worked fine. But again after some time the error started coming...
- While browsing the internet, after some time 'out of memory' message popped up and didn't allow to continue browsing..
So, this model has the above issues till now..
Please don't go for it, if you need your camera and browser to work always.

The phone looks very cool,but not have some of functions like some previosly models.Its missing themes,only internal.Sound quality is poor,but on a headphones is better.Good thing here is a 2 megapixel camera with led light and video record.The quality of video recording is not the best,but phone is a low price.Anyway,for price about 100 euro its a very good deal.Please excuse my bad english.

No problem in indonesia...
the phone already been update and upgrade it.
- The sound volume is clear and loud
- Camera is good for 2MP
- Browsing is fast enough
- Screen is clear and bright
but....
Battery is only last 1.5 day per charge.

Anonymous, 28 Aug 2009i bought this phone yesterday and was extremely disappointe... moreI brought this phone a week ago and whenever I tries to take a snap my phone said "Not Available". It acted just crazy. I had to give it back to the store.
The mirror finish scratch proof screen looks amazingly sleek and stylish.
*Camera clarity is OK and the flash option does not make any difference.
*Keypad is extremely user friendly to type messages quickly.
The phone is as same its sibling S302, Except for its looks and other add-ons.
*Battery can last for a day with continuous internet Browsing and Music.
I must say the FM Radio with RDS and its Bass Reflex earphones can output Crystal Clear music.
I better would suggest the Samsung S3500 got its Sliding factor and the battery back up. Features are all the same.

I bought this phone yesterday. And have found out the following things..
It is good for its price.
I previously used K550i which was a great phone. I'm comparing it with this.
The features that was in K550i and not in S310 :
1. Camera clarity. Camera looks like a VGA camera though it is 2mp.
2. Image viewing option is very poor. No rotate or zoom options for pictures.
3. Video - some 3gp files not supporting.
4. Limited themes, only 4. Themes cannot be newly installed.
5. 'Mark and Copy' option ie. Copy, Paste option not available.
6. Selecting multiple files option for (sending, deleting) not available. Has to be done one by one.
Will update once I find more .. :) but overall the phone's performance and look is good.
