okay guys i need some help. my phone (T700) i love it to pieces but this is the third time this has happened.
it has no signal, wont take my charger because it says it is 'not a sony ericson battery' when it is ! its definately my phone that is the problem..some buttons wont work either. its about 5 months old.
last time i tryed to get it fixed it took 3 weeks. and i need my phone and i dont want to have to pay.
it could be because it got a little wet in the snow today but not drenched. :S

I have been using this phone for more than 2 years. I think it is great.
There was a period of time when there was some problem with the phone such as part of the screen's content not showing which I just solve by switching it off and on or taking out the sim card and putting it back in again. (I think it might be because I drop the phone a couple of times...)
After that short period of time, the phone had been performing smoothly.
I like this phone especially because of its compact dimension which suit my rather small hands, and I like the weight of it and its texture and colours (mine is red-and-black).

hi guys this is mansoor from india i have used this phone for about a month now .......... should say its one of the sexiest phone i have ever used .... but after 8 months of usage this phone gave me so many prolems that i am planning to throw it in ta sony co face :P
bloody this phone gets switched off ..... sometimes my message goes away , etc all kinda problems are there now ....... i have used sony phones all the way from my starting t100 .......... was a big fan of SE but now t700 has disappointed me a lot .... if sony does not get a solution for me i will never buy a sony phone in ma life ............. !

The internal antenna of this phone was so weak compared with the another SonyEricsson with the same service provider and at the same location. I believe that the location of its internal antenna was in a lower part of the phone or below battery part which was always coverd by hand during used which really effects call quality, power levels,and lessen the signals. T700 had signals fluctuation and always had less signal bars on screen. I dont know if this problem persist in all T700s.

I've had this phone for over a month, and i'm very pleased with it, good camera, good display, nice flash.

Seriously, I dropped my phone into a large bucket of muddy water. Dirty is to be mild. It swirled around for some seconds before I got it out, cleaned it with some pressured air that was thankfully available.. and it worked!
It still works!
If it continues to work for another month I will write SonyEricsson a personal thankyou-letter for not spending 160 euros for nothing.
The keys are rather small and I really should text more to get used to it..

now the camera is not working .,it is greenish dot apperence when i switch on the camera ....,when it is camera mode when i press the snap button ..,it come out from the camera..., but in video it is recording with that same greenish dot apperence..........., please give me the unique solution sir

check the message menu, if ur mesge was sent already, ur txt will go to sent meassages, if not it will go to drafts...

Hello guys!I bought yesterday this phone.It looks really nice but I have one problem.When I send a message I dont get the answer that the person has received the message. I searched everywhere in the phone and nothing.Has anyone else the same problem?If I take it to service I dont know when I take it back.Please if someone could help I would appreciate!

the best phone ever!!!
Very small n light but built well so u wont break it. Fast processor, good camera and good display. Was always a nokia fan but nw Sony Ericsson all the way!!!!

within 4 months the handsets life came to an end,this is a very delicate fone due to its slimness the handsets motherboard automtically touches to the body abd gets restarted till now i have replaced my motherboard 4 times but till now the same problem it is in service center frm 3 months till nw i didnt got it have wasted my money so i guide u all ppl not to buy t700 or any sony ericsson phones buy any nokia fone because it give u good service

Pros:
-Good camera
-cool interface
-small and compact
-hot overall design
-good battery life
-flashlight is bright
-loud tones
Cons:
-no autofocus
-side arrow keys cannot adjust volume so you have to either set a shortcut to the volume or adjust it manually everytime
Awesome phone, I do not regret buying it. The only major problem that annoys me is that the side volume control does not actually control the volume. Pushing the up or down arrows will just bring up the phone status screen which tells the model, phone #, memory, battery, and alarm time. I bypassed this by changing one of the main arrow keys to the volume control so its not that bad. Silent mode is also easily accessible by holding down the # key. Get it.
