it's a great phone, i had to chose between nokia 6234 and v630i and i chose v630i good camera ,the pcitures are very clear,vivid coloros,i'm pleased with the phone and impresed by the camera, i took a lot of pictures and all are great not blury,batery life aprox 4 days talk time moderate 15-20 min ,games,camera and music,listen to music excesiv 2 days lasts the bat. i like it kiks nokia but anytime and the price is sexy.

want to change the firmware(that personalized menu by vodafone it's crap!)...how do i change it? does anyone have an idea(some kind of a tutorial would be nice or some links)pls reply plssss:(

if the keys seem to be pressing themselves send the phone to service.
I have sent it twice:
first time they updated the software (nice but didn`t solve the problem)
second time they replaced the keyboard.
I now have a fully functional v630 with faster reactions and better music/camera

Well i'm satisfied with it but it switches itself off every 2 or 3 days.It's annoying and i'm soon going to give it back for repair...

or you can change de menus from de firmware by using far manager and dcu 60 usb cable.

This mobile is so cool .I have this phone it's so cool.The prce is advantage the design is realy good ,performance are better.

i've bought it 2months ago, i'm very satisfied, but i don't think the sound is great, W-series have a better sound, they have the mega bass option...
the camera is very good, battery life is great, it lasts for 5-6 days with some mp3 listening
all in all very good phone for 150€, and i've got that SE speakers free with it...very good

i'm curious:i have the vodafone version with the VERY ugly vodafone menu.can i change the software or something???i want to chamge that ugly menu .It's soo boooriiinggg!!!!pls reply .thanks:)

You can also use SanDisk M2 memory cards that are significantly cheaper than Sony's.

Never had any problem with the phone, I bought a 1gb M2 card and now use it as an mp3 player too, the sound quality is excelent, the bad things about it could be the battery time and the rare and expensive type of card(M2 exclusive to sony ericsson)

I have had nothing but problems with my phone.it went back for it first software upgrade when was just 8weeks old.the phone is now 10months old and had two more software upgrades, to no avail.
I have also had nothing but problems, gone round in circles with Sony Ericsson customer service.My phone is being replaced by a nokia.
I would not recommend sony ericsson phone to anyone.

hello ..when i bought this phone , on my display didn't was the 3g icon... now after i verified my email using my mobile it appears...what`s mean that 3g icon?cause i couldn't find in user manual
