Hi eveyone,
Can somebody direct me in the right direction, I'm looking to down the Sony Ericsson V800 software to change/convert MP3 files to ringtones.

Hi all,
I love my v800 (on Vodafone) and can't fault it at all, i can listen to the mp3s fine on my h/s and have expanded the memory card so i can manage to fit the whole of my pink floyd back catalogue on it!!!
I also transfer the files from it and to it with the bluetooth dongle in my computer and the picturee quality far suppases anything that i require
10/10 (as i've got the software to change my mp3s to compatible ringtones, 9/10 if i didn't)

just a few words to say about this phone just got it yesterday and already i love it...easy to use..nice to handle..also tried the camara to its good to and all the extras are cool to..its a must even to try

This phone its good. But i can't listen any mp3. can you explain about the DRM protection. and i really want to listen mp3 with that v802se. plz....

This fone is alrighttt..HAd some problems, but this fone is a real head turner. Camera isnt great, but ok..Bluetooth has worked good tho.. OVerall its a pretty nice fone but im a gadget freak so i need the best of the best..
I was gonna pay the 200+ dollars to get it but i found a website to get it at for 40 dollars! Email me if you want the info on the great deal!tmac117@msn.com

Of course the 802SE purchased in Japan is locked to Vodafone KK only (Japan) You won't be able to use your 802SE with any other Vodafone SIM card other than that of Japan. You can unlock your 802SE. It's up to you to take the chance to unlock your 802SE. First you have to find someone that will unlock your 802SE (for a fee) and if you unlock it, your warranty with Vodafone Japan will be voided.

Hi guys pls help me here as im very confused! Im here in south africa and thinking of buying this v800, however i have heard story from this site saying that the v800 is locked to vodafone only and doesnt play mp3 file unless u downloaded from the vodafone website, so i don't know if the v800 here in south africa have this problem or not,coz when i see the phone, it has a vodafone logo on it,and the vodacom network here is also promoting the vodafone live advert...so does this mean this phone is locked to vodafone?can it play mp3 file or is there a restriction?pls help me as i dont want to make a mistake on buying this phone..thanks a lot!

I live in Japan and have the 802se - that's what it's called here.
I am going on holiday to Australia and rather than paying the expensive roaming charges I was wondering if I could just insert a prepaid sim card while there. Is this possible? I have heard mixed answers. Some people have said that the phone is locked is that true?

sorry but i totally disagree with the person below....i've had the v800 for a couple of weeks now...the bluetooth is excellent and the camera to....i also have the nokia 6230i and the camera on that even thought its 1.3 the same...the v800 comes out much clearer and better quality. also video quality is much better than the 6230i. so result is i'm keeping the v800 but getting rid of the 6230i, as i'm very disppointed with it.

this fone suks. it has not very good bluetooth, the battery runs out quickly, the camera is poor quality. if you want a real fone look for the nokia 3310.

Just wondering if somebody could help me, I bought this phone and upgraded it to a Z800, the problem I now face is that i'm not able to put mp3 songs into it. I've downloaded the support for the Z800 version, butt still it wont seem to work, plz answer... positiv :)

Has anyone found a voice memo function on this phone? You know, you're having a walk and suddenly have this great idea that you want to speak into your phone... My current phone has that, but I haven't been able to find it in the manual of this one...

i just bought the phone and i think its really cool phone, the problem starts with the memory card i bought a 1gb pro duo memory card, i have no problems with pictures but the problem happens when i try to drag mp3 onto it, it says parameter not found?but when i use normal memory card lesser memory no problem, anyone with the same problem, also i lost my disk and i cant connect is there any resources for the pc suite?

Man this phone was the best phone that i ever got and i got alot of phones i kno this phone is big but it good i got no problem with it
