With Bluetooth, 3D gaming, global support including Japan, and every other feature you would want to put on a phone. I am very, very impressed.

Pros: Stylish; easy to use; good features all round.

Cons: Takes Memory Stick rather than SD card.

    i have 1 question abt this phone.. in the describtion it said mp3 ringtone(restriction) wut does it mean by that? can anyone explain it to me?? thank you

      I have several questions:

      Does this phone work in the Philippines?
      Does it have a slot for a sim card?
      How do you unlock it from vodafone or Japan?

          I wanted to install the software i accuired with the purchase but i got an error or something, anywhere i can download it?

          Second when i stream a video or something the volume is very low, is this supposed to be like that? (i think it's at max or am i missing something)

          And someone mentioned cracking the mp3 lock, where and how do i do that?

                Hyd,

                try going to the "My items" folder. U can find ur pics there.

                nope, the external screen won't display any pictures.

                  I have a SE V802se and its is flashed with a Sony Ericsson Z800 software. This version does not have any MP3 restrictions at all. Lets talk, I will be in the Philippines on 04/26/05 until middle of May, if your interested let me know. Its a great phone!!

                    This phone its good. But still so many things still lock, like MP3 and Sim. Is anyone can tell me how to unlock MP3 and Sim lock, that I can use this phone to another country!

                        Hi,

                        I got this phone yesterday, it's really great, looks classy also.

                        I have a question though, how can i acces my files in the memory stick in the phone.

                        I also can't find the pictures i keep taking in the phone, where can i locate them.

                          Is this phone really a 72 Channel Ringtone? Most SE have 40 only. I heard a 64 Channel one before, awesome, 72 would be even better! Can someone who bought the phone confirm this?

                            Hi all, i got this phone a week ago and its fantastic, image quality is superb, and so is mp3 quailty. onky problem is cant take shutter tone off when takin pictures unless your on the phone with someone at the same time, odd i no! But this phone is great, would def recommend to everyone!

                              recently, i've purchased the SE v800 and the phone is amazing; in terms of design and specification. The only flaw it has is the mp3 restriction but the problem can be solved by downloading the drm packager. I've done that and the phone is working perfectly fine.

                                I'm pretty sure screen is bigger than what u mention. Its a bloody huge phone so even if screen is not S700 size.. its pretty close...

                                  screen size is too much small. 1.8 inch. as t610/630, k700 screen size. i prefer larger screen, as s700.

                                      I have an unlocked v800 from Japan everything fine accept when I hold a number down it does not scroll to the phonebook address like it should...Any ideas?

                                        Can someone PLEASE tell me how you upgrade a vodaphone locked v800 to a unlocked z800. and where can I down load the firmware files and buy a lead - sorry to sound thick butwhile I am an electronics engineer phones are not my area
