Well, I have had a play with V800 and I can say this is the phone. I called at Voda’s shop and had a long chat with the sale rep, she was very helpful. After I had a look at the phone, she gave it to me to test. The main keys feel good, it is light but well made, the screen is really beautiful
I ran through some of the menus, there’s some much to re learn over my old Nokia 6210. Then I ran the camera, this was on video and stills, The rep, should me how to run a live down load, it just goes on. There is only one thing I do not like, but can live with once the phone comes out as sim free. Sony Memory stick, I would like SD. In the sim free mode, It would be difficult to access 3G, but GPRS and 2.5 GSM will do. Cost: there are two tariffs 500 or 1000 minutes. At 500 you pay £40 per month and at 1000 you pay £60 per month plus the phone. That’s 40 * 12 contract = £480 plus £150 = £630 The cost goes up once you use up your time and cross network calls cost a lot. That is to expensive for me.

This is a 3G phone, it will not available in your country if there isn't a 3G network. If there is, this phone will cost about USD800. It support video conferencing like SE1010

To Robbie, or anyone else who knows the answer :-)
This question is about the memory card the V800 is using. According to the paper work it takes Memory Stick Duo.
Now my question is; will a Memory Stick PRO Duo work.
I'm wondering because Memory Stick PRO Duo are bigger. The largest Memory Stick Duo i've found is only 128MB.
Thanks all. O

Used this phone today (work for Vodafone, 3G launched today), features are good butunliike ost SE phones, does not feel like a quality product, also screen is good res but not that big. User interface isn't the greatest either. Wiat for the Sharp 2MP one which is out very soon.

Contract free (locked to Vodafone for 12 months) it's priced around £330 here in Sweden. It's open for sale at Vodafone Stores from today - at least here in Sweden...

I could not agree more.
I like the phone, I will wait till next year, it will come out sim free.
From what I have read this is a true 3G phone, but works across GSM which suit me fine.
I don't need video calls, but I like the other functions the phone has.

The V800 is out on 10th November (2 days to go). It will be a full Vodafone Live handset and is really cool. I've used one for about an hour and is unbeatable. Get one on Wednesday
