FireDragon, 07 Jun 2010Wow, nice run back there with the first impression and impr... moreHey, thanks for appreciating...Ya, the keyboard is good enough for some serious texting....The use of Ctrl key for selecting all, cut, copy and paste is also very useful.
I was also sure that the built quality will be nice...Even though the whole body is plastic, it has the feel of an expensive and well built phone.
The Human Curvature thing really works. But the battery cover is a bit tricky to open...I advice not to open it on a regular basis....

Aliza, 07 Jun 2010Bro u answered most of the questions which a person needs t... moreNo, i didn't buy it online. I bought it from a local mobile retail store. I bought it the day they got it in stock.
About the color, both are nice. I have used a lot of Black phones, so I chose the White one for a change. The white one looks very unique and I like it slightly more than the black one.

i am really interested in this phone. Please tell me... moreThe answers to your questions are:
1. Yes, you can set access point groups, assign different access points to different applications and also set priorities to access points in the same group. Just goto Menu>Settings>Connectivity>Destinations.
2. I haven't tested the battery life properly, but i can say that it'll atleast last around 1-1.5 days with heavy usage.
3. 22750 INR = 485 USD
4. As the back is curved and the device is very small and light weight, you cant hold the device firmly, but its not uncomfortable. It just takes a little while to get used to it. But, the keyboard is nice and better than that of Motorola Milestone.

Thanks for sharing and the much data you typed in using Vivaz Pro, I can see it is pretty comfortable to do the heavy texting which means keyboard is above average.
Also glad to know about the build quality, although I never had problem with the build quality from SE devices but it is always good to know they are keeping their standards.
I bet Aliza wants to fly to you to touch your phone now. :)

Bought this phone 2 days back...and i am a proud owner of it.
It is really nice. The camera and video recording is great, only lacks some contrast. The keyboard is very easy to type on. The screen is very responsive. The only major downside is the speaker volume. Its quite low for my liking. I have bought the white one...got it for INR 22750 which is a very good price for this device...great value for money.
Among other things, the built quality is very good and the software is very stable. I was worried about the speed of the phone but its has a good speed. Application switching and overall UI is smooth. I've filled my 16 gb card upto 12gb and i can confirm that it has no impact on the speed of the phone. The only place where the phone has become slow is the media player only in music in the albums. When you select an album, it takes 3-4 seconds to display the songs in that album. Battery life seems to be good. There are lots of games provided in the memory card but they are not installed. Rally master pro can be played with the arrow keys of the keyboard which makes it really convenient and enjoyable. That is my initial impression of this phone. If you have any questions regarding this phone, let me know. And by the way, all this i've typed using vivaz pro's keyboard.

My vivaz-pro has the game "The Sims 3"...and I get 16 GB memory card also, I thought they SE would only give 8 GB
This is over my expectation.
How can I not love Sony Ericsson?
