just bought my vivaz pro yesterday.....love it...even the camera only 5mp compared to 8mp vivaz..but it qwerty key such a huge advantages for who love to surf online like me...

Yeah, I'm actually wondering about the same thing. I guess it makes sense since the camera's got autofocus.. So a continuous light would make more sense than a simple flash for capturing images in low light.. however, my gripe is on the fact that there's no way of setting the flash to auto.. So you have to turn it on or off yourself..
one thing that makes me love this phone more is the fact that it came with a free copy of SPB Mobile Shell (i think it's exclusive to Asia-Pac region for now), which makes using this phone easier and a lot more fun.. but, yeah, the facebook client doesn't work for me..

Hi, I want to ask if I can use the camera light as a flash function and how do I do it? Currently in the Settings you can only turn the light on continuously and it's also the same for video. Thanks

I'm planning to buy a slide phone which has a qwerty keyboard. My options so far are nokia c6, SE xperia x10 mini pro, and the SE vivaz pro.
In a phone, I look for something that's user-friendly, has a decent battery life (lasts 2-3 days with moderate use), decent sound quality, good camera, durable, handy, nice design, doesn't hang or crash, and a good internet browsing experience.
I heard that the x10 mini pro is Android while the other 2 are symbian. but how different is it really?or symbian is actually ok?
also, the x10 mini pro has capacitive touchscreen, but the other two have resistive touch screen. Is is really a major difference or the resistive touchscreen is decent enough?
Please help me choose the best phone among the 3 choices. Thank you so much! :D

palesa, 23 Dec 2010The sound on this phone is not good and Sony makes phones t... morei just bought it today.. for the music well is not very loud.. that is bcs of the slim design and the full qwerty keyboard (just read abt this on this web-site) abt the slow loading is not true.. i tested everything on this phone.. and is working very good, i really recommended to thos ppl`s who is in dilemma.. i was in dilemma before abt this and Satio.. but i choose this one and i like it a lot :)

The sound on this phone is not good and Sony makes phones that have a good sound. the other thing is that it is slow when loading,I cant seem to register on Twitter my emails are not working either.

The main limitaion is that we cannot make net call..evn from gtalk, nimbuz, yahoo messenger..etc..

My experience with the vivaz pro is mixed.It was the perfect phone for me providing me with a slide out keyboard and touch screen. Media player was really good. Speakers are AVERAGE. not the best. however, downfall is lack of updates. Facebook app doesn`t work for many users. And the Wi-Fi doesn`t work with MANY users as well. I have done research and it seems other people have had the same problems as I. The phnoe however is REALLY good. But just a few problems that I wish Sony would take care of. Why sell phones with non-working wi-fi! To be honest, its a great phone but just a few flaws which could be fixed with a simple update! This is an honest review for those concerned. I`ve had this phone for 3months now.

Vivaz offers a lot without the carriers data plan rates
With the Blackberry (and any smartphone) you have to take the carriers data package.
