I'm sorry for the interruption but I had a problem
my phone recently unable to detect my sim card. It will pop up a message " insert sim card " and the only solution is to restart the phone. can I know what problem is my phone having and the solution to this problem?

If your serious about txt back up you may want to google and enquire about using an online back up service to keep them secure for life..
I did start keeping txts aboit 10 years ago but nowadays just delete or save for as long as needed but some people in buisnesss or who get threats or love letter texts they NEED to keep your best being into some proper proffessional back up service online..I dont know any but they do exist as some allow you so many free then charge after that but if you are serious about protecting texts its something you should start looking into..

Can this phone store thousands of messages? This is one of the most important criterias to me when I select a phone. My previous Sony Ericsson phone has a large storage and I really love it like that. So I was just wondering if Vivaz pro has such a function too. Hopefully because I'm pretty convinced to get this as my new phone now. :DDD

Hi everyone. I would like to ask if there is any plan to upgrade the OS of Vivaz Pro to the Android system. I heard its better for the touch screen usage and there is more free applications available. Secondly, how is the quality of the speaker of the phone? Can you hear an incoming call loud and clearly? Battery just gone now at 1.35 am so got 20hrs 35mins off mp3 playback on second charge.Back on charge and bed now ,more testing tommorow.

I am with comments on battery been better than my e75 by lots of time..This mobile does all for me but its rather odd set up to remove back cover it tears off..If you like a very non heavy cellfone with full power GPU an HD video and tv out get vivaz pro..People with good touchscreen typing and even more lighweight cellfone just get vivaz plus get 8mp cameras.I love vivaz pro.smartphones.

I am doing battery test now doing non-stop mp3 playback ay 80% volume using senheaiser cx300 which is too loud really using spoken word equaliser setting.Set it off at 5am this morning and it now 12.25am next day and now just played FIRST low battery warning.
So up to now over 19hrs playback,i get 5.5hrs on nokia n95 and 7hrs 10 mins on n97.Will vivaz last 24hrs?? i have checked the battery about 20 times throughout test and that meant the backlight was on for 25 second x 20 as well as mp3 playback at 75% screen britness.
I am on my second charge only got it friday and really hammered it getting things set up and lasted 8.5hrs whereas nokia n95 would have gone at 3hrs or less..So i think or assume up to ow vivaz has good baterry back up..

I own this phone now for almost 2 weeks... It is a very good phone! I am actually typing this from my Vivaz Pro! The camera is very good in daylight, but in poor light the quality of pictures is reduced alot... The keyboard is amazing! Keys are large enough, spacing between the keys is perfect. I never used e-mail on the phone before, I couldn't get the right configuration or something because the e-mail just didn't work as it should, but on vivaz the settings were downloaded automatically and they work great, no problems yet... Something that I didn't like about the phone (or maybe on SonyEricsson as a brand) is that even if the phone has GPS but SonyEricsson doesn't offer any free maps... And the software I think that still needs work... I am assuming that the software comes from the standard vivaz, and that's why in some menus (ex: camera menu) the keyboard is not working and you must use the touchscreen.
Anyway, I hope that SonyEricsson will bring an upgrade for the software, but even if they will not, I am still very happy on my decision to buy this phone!

ryan, 07 Oct 2010i buy my vivaz almost 3days only but i cannot use a video c... moreThere is no front camera on this phone... That little thing near the speaker is the ambient light sensor!
