i just bot the phone 3 days ago.very classy phone.unfotunatly dnt knw how to switch on the led flash when i want to take pictures.plz advise.thanks
earlier i had the satio.used it as i wantd.camera was realy cool.

vivazpro, 23 Sep 2010use pc campanion insted, you can download it on support sitesame problem for both pc companion and pc suite... they don't detect my phone...

Hey all,
Ive had this phone now for about 8 weeks, and im pretty amazed at all the features, really happy with it except for three things....
1 - GPS, c'com sony ericsson,wayfinder...? WTF.. its crap scrap it immidiately if not sooner. I had to hack a SIS file to get a working GPS system running on the phone thats actually usable (Nokia Maps nonr the less).
2 - There seems to be a bad batch of phones that were released to market with hardware faults, the problems i had were with the earpiece, about 90% of all my calls I cant hear the caller, updating software didnt help so its gone in for warranty repair... very bad form tho.
3 - Battery, i tend to not use the phone much (at least at the moment) i make maybe 10 minutes af calls a day, do a little web browsing check some rss feeds and maybe take a picture of two, but the battery lasts about 1 to 1 and a half days..... this is bad, and yes before anybody mentions the obvious... ive turned off bluetooth / wifi / 3g ect and there are no applications running in the background and the screen is turned down to pretty much the lowest setting, i dont have an image loaded as wallpaper (as this can drain battery too).
However I have found a potential solution - Memory card ...
I have a 32gb memory card inserted into the phone, I have been testing and it appears that if you take the card out, fully charge the phone and reboot you can double the battery life.
I have also found online an extended battery thats 1500 mAh and installed it. This seems to give me about the same life as the 1200 mAh one, just thought i would share my experiences, it may be of help to someone who is having problems.

anybody with the problem just do this. go to sonyericsson than click support then chose your phone then download "pc companion". when installed click on support zone, of course connect your phone with computer, wait for all drivers to be installed. On support zone you can update and also repair your phone. make sure you do the back up first. hope this helps

ok, I have this phone for 3 days and it is more then great. you have great camera, great video, great wireless, solid gps, solid screen (quality exelent, touch is resistive but still among better resistive ones) great qwerty, good speed of processor, solid symbian (i dont like symbian but sonyericsson put some of their own stuff like panels and media menu). it is cheap at least here 250euro. SonyEricsson proved that they are the best in this
