Rory01, 09 Jul 2010Somebody can help me to understand the network specs for th... moreWell u8i and u8a are just two models of vivaz pro with as such no difference just ...u8a seems to work on north American network n u8i seems for Asian and European network....btw which region you from? also you don't have to worry coz if u go to Sony center they will only have the particular model available for your region.
UMTS is for 3G technology.

Somebody can help me to understand the network specs for the SE vivaz pro U8i, first what means U8i/U8a?, and UMTS/HSPA 900/2100
GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900
UMTS/HSPA 850/1900/2100
which of those networks have my cel? Where I can see this information (in the cel)? If, for example my celular provider uses a UMTS/HSPA 850 network, this cel can be used and the 3G signal can be detected by my cel? Thanks in advance for your help

sam, 08 Jul 2010which is better x10 mini pro,vivaz or vivaz pro.Having a ke... moreX10 mini pro is very nice but very small.vivaz pro would be my choice out of the 3.vivaz pro hs a great touch screen n response.It depends if u r comfortable with virtual keyboard or physical keyboard.Vivaz pro is not for heavy users n hs issues with battery ummm but overall its a very nice fone,I would suggest get a demo before buying.If it was me I would opt for htc legend or X10 over vivaz.

i been reading bout 7 pages of the reviews..n ... morenokia does not have good camera quality such as nokia 5800.
I find sony ericsson's camera quality the best. 3.2 MP can differ greatly from Nokia's 3.2MP camera. Quite big difference indeed.
I'm a SE mobile fan. Love it. Vivaz pro touch screen seems not to be as sensitive as nokia's touch screen. but overall it's not bad. (Might subject to different opinions)

mike1200, 07 Jul 2010After reading lots of comments and watching videos of n900,... moreI don't think you remember Shona who used to visit this forum long back,she uses N900 n she wanted to convince me to buy n900 instead of vivaz pro,she used to say its a very nice fone,vivaz pro is also a very nice fone but its not for heavy users between it hs sm minor issues of battery umm camera is also not that good and audio quality is just average.But I like it but I love my bb more lol ,take care

After reading lots of comments and watching videos of n900, not sure about it, I don't think I even need another phone, If I buy it, won't be using the n97 confused! So hows the vivaz pro?

I don't know, might give something else than a phone, already has a BB, the n900 I have decided if I take it, its going to be for me, I know its really big, but I kind of like it, and I don't think its going to be available for much longer.
Plus since u said its a mini computer, thats a deal breaker for me!
