this is the only slider phone i have. i love how the system locks after sliding it down and shows a photo of a key before locking. it also has some good default games like guitar hero. i dont know what to say anymore

Surprised to see profile for my old mobile on here. Just upgraded from having this as my main phone for 11 years from Oct 2009! Now gone from the 2G W395 (and PAYG) to a 5G (ready) smartphone in one leap. It served me well, but couldn't really cope with a new sim from my provider due to network upgrades: alternated from a signal to 'searching' to 'incompatible sim'. Before then it would also just lose a call part way through where signal dropped but still existed, or I became unclear to the caller even when signal was OK despite them being clear to me. Still have the original box and all that came with it - only replaced the original battery once. Whilst my new phone has an alarm this W395 will continue to serve as an under the pillow alarm clock as very rarely ever failed to wake me up in the mornings!

The calendar feature is very confusing and unintuitive to use on the Sony Ericsson W395 (unlike many other feature phones)

Has there any solut... moreI had that same problem too, but when I had my phone repaired for water damage (under warranty) I noticed that the technician upgraded the software, and the phone stopped making those 16 MB dump files, plus navigating the camera album became faster too, and I can now download large files like mp3's. But I doubt the software update is still available, because it's already 2016, and SE phases those old model software updates.
