You can easily select "Add animation" from a list of pre-installed animations or "Add picture" for your own.

I own this phone and i must say the camera is good, but not great. Can't expect much without autofocus or flash. Pics turn out really great if not awesome (for a 3.2 mp camera) in bright sunlight. Not so much under dark lighting.
Video recording is decent. Though the vids turn out distorted/pixelated. When filming in night mode, there's like a 0.01 second delay when you move the phone so it kinda looks like the image is being "dragged" along.
Personally, I love the camera. I owned a CYBERSHOT phone before this so I know the quality of this is far inferior. Still, for a Walkman phone, its pretty good. Hope this helps.

iceman, 28 Mar 2010why my phone only ringing for 10-20 seconds (sms and alarm)... moresorry to say, but there is no way to extent the ringing time for sony ericsson sms/msg tone even you use mp3. all sony ericsson have the same 10-20 second ringing time for sms/msg, you could try 3rd party software.

i got w508 and it's a great phone and good battery
i charge it ever three days and when i use the phone a lot it live for 2 days and half nice cam the 2nd cam is gd i like it in video calls ;)
it takes only 2 hours and half to charge it
it's a very good phone i love holding it (light )
and if you think you get one iam sure u will love it

why not even one clamshell model never has autofocus- that is a big mistake - AUTOFOCUS MUST BE IN ALL SONYERICSSON MODELS - then SE will be no.1-- a friendly advice for SE managment - in a body of W710 put camera 3.2mpx-autofocus-xenon flash- led light -wlan - and you get the best phone in the world

the best phone i have ever had very loud speaker very stylish & confortable.
Opera mini5 works very good on it. The walkman and senseme are very good. Minimum lag. Very good phone book.
