does the folding become soft after a while? or is it strong enough to last?
are the captured still pictures clear enough or hazy ?

Thinking of buying the phone, downloaded the manual and went through, but still not clear the following:
1- does the outer screen show incoming caller name? messages received?
2- is there any oter way to mute ringing tone other than this gesture control method? for eg. any key turns to "silence" in addition to "accept" "reject" as with nokia phones?
3- Is it possible also to mute tones of received messages the same way? (this is v. imp to me as I usually make a very load tone for messages and with SE G900 there is no way to silence sms tones!
4- Is there LED indicator for missed events?
One final thing, I'm also trying to compare this phone to Nokia 6700 classic (a classy looking Nokia) and still confused between both.. anyone have a recommendation?!

question mark, 26 Nov 2009 actually i like d white colour one..but i heard that whit... moreNo, it will not turn yellow, the front is done by IMD, an expensive and high quality method of molding the color into the plastic through layers of foil, on top of it is a clear layer. Thus, no possibility of turning yellow. As for the back, it is spray with PU paint. This type of paint, unlike UV paint has no yellowish content in white unlike UV paint. again, very little possibility of turning yellow.

actually i like d white colour one..but i heard that white mobile may became yellowish or dirty after used it for a long period..is that true?..and should i go for Metal Grey or Poetic White(w508)?pls help me friends..i do appreciate any opinions..thanks^^

so i took the risk and bought one..
it isn't slow at all..trust me..:)..just a little laggy when u turn it on..little tiny bit..well i don't think u will turn on and off the phone everyday..
the keypad is comfortable...the numerical numbers do space out a little compared with candy bar phones particularly..but i still feel they are comfortable for texting...eventhough for small fingers users like me...
overall, i'm very happy with this phone..the only trouble i'm having is changing the style up cover..its quite hard to take out the old one..other than that..its a great phone...
i used to doubt if my choice is correct..now i can tell u..it is the best...anyway..there many pirated ones in my country..i go for the original one..and yes, genuine is the best...if the same thing happens in ur country..i suggest u take the genuine..

I have just bought W508 for my wife. It's quite user friendly, easy touch, and I has all what a lady needs in a phone. But, the camera is not quite good. Actually she always complains about its focus shortcoming.
Anyway, thank you SONY ERICSSON.

Actually i bought sony ericsson c510 2 months ago..n i really dissapointed with it coz its keep on hanging, so i though wana change my phone.So i wanted to know between t707 n w508...wic one is better coz i dont wan to make the same mistake...Pls help me friends..

this phone looks nice when you see it in the store or on images, and when you look at the box. and then at home you realize it is a cheap mistake. this makes me a little bit angry.
